Depending on how heavily stocked your reef is, you may need to consider getting skimmers that could effectively remove waste from your tank.

I'm using Dymax LS 10 for my nano tank. You can view the type of skimmate from my tank thread here, pg 2 and 7. I'm happy with its performance so far.

Yes, yes. I do not plan to add anything except cheato. Of course, a proper refugium contains many other things like DSB or different types of mangrove, but mine is just a nano tank, so I can only afford to keep cheato. Anyone else has success with it? What are the modifications to look into?

Has anyone done the above with success? Pls kindly share your experience and setup (photos would be wonderful)? I'm planning to do something similar, but besides light and flow requirements, space can be a factor for healthy growth of chaeto, and the limits of the hang-on filter is just that.

Dun think that's gonna help much... spammers have all the time in the world. Besides, genuine members might start joining a forum just to ask some questions to solve immediate problems. Hahaha... looks like chewing gum on the rocks... Cute Roborovski hamster... I used to keep them. Unfortunately, nice to watch, but no fun to play. Way too fast, these fellas. In my previous company, my boss was given a hamster, and she kept it in the office. Under air-con environment, the fur grew so thick it was like a fur ball. Very nice. If you pamper them, buy a mini fan and hook it up. They should develop a nice coat of fur.

I'm starting to face the same problem with my zoas. Ever since I bought the red zoas that remained closed all the way till it completely disappeared, my other zoas are starting to be partially closed. Any specific brand of iodine to try? Must you soak the whole colony in iodine? Do I need to rinse with fresh water after the dip before putting it back to the main tank?
