  1. You really have deep pockets... nice prata.
  2. You may need a better skimmer for a 4Ft tank. My Dymax skimmer is using the 1200L/hr pump, and it supports a 1.5Ft nano tank. You will need to fine tune the skimmer so that it doesn't overflow. Get those small air valves to control the air intake.
  3. Erm... what pics? If you're talking about tank upgrades, its still in the planning stage.
  4. I did all that, minus target feeding of mysis, and my yumas are probably 1/2 the size of yours. I'll be heading that direction soon.
  5. Yeah... its getting cramped. I'm planning to upgrade just a little bit to make it a 1.5 Ft cube with external overflow and a nano sump tank. This will free up some display space, and the sump's gonna keep all the untidy equipment away underneath my desk. It'll be as big as a nano tank can get. Need to reinforce my work desk though...
  6. Ah... your secret recipe... I'm going to try when I get back to Singapore. So just flood or target?
  7. I need to pick up some photography skills from you, sir. You take awesome pictures. And of course, beautiful subjects as well...
  8. Ok... its a clear sign... you're addicted! Hehehe... welcome to the club...
  9. Lovely clowns and yuma... your tank is amazing bro...
  10. Wow... the coraline growth in both your tanks is amazing. And I think your yumas are HUGE...
  11. You need to slow down on your stocking up, bro... it'll be good to find out why some of your stuff died or disappear before adding more stuff into your tank. Cheers!
  12. Hey bro, nice to see you starting your own tank thread! I'm with tunicate on this though... IOS definitely has its limitations. I'm already planning for a sump tank. The good thing is added water volume and keeping all the equipment tidy and hidden. Looking forward to your tank updates!
  13. Personally, I prefer more moving space, so I would shift the bed and desk to the opposite ends, against the walls. Might be a bit warm if the wall is where there is direct sunlight. Managing heat and noise from the tank will be your next challenge. Looking forward to your progress.
  14. Haha... TBH, I chucked it aside and forgot about it.
  15. Wow wow... how many tanks do you have now? Into orange stuff now, yea?
  16. Well... there must be a reason why this skimmer is so often sold in the sales thread.
  17. Is it hosting some corals in your tank? The black spots could be from stinging corals. It'll go away once they acclimatise to the coral. Happen to mine before.
  18. Does anyone have good sump ideas or designs that I could use? The limitations I have is space, so 1.5 Ft length is the max. I can play around with the width and height though, but not much. Need to cater for in-sump skimmer and return pump. Some space for chaeto is really pushing it, so I'm calling out to fellow reefers who can come up with good ideas to squeeze as much equipment in this nano sump. in advance!
  19. I can't really see the actual colours under actinic, so I'm not sure. The greens that I have are much more emerald in person.
  20. I'm sorry... its kinda reserved, bro... I'm waiting for the main colony to fill up the empty space now. If I frag the next time I'll inform you.
  21. I've glued them onto the same rock. Felt that it was a bit cramped, but I the bunched up look.
