  1. Heh... hardly login nowadays. Lazy lah. Looking forward to your tank updates! Ups for you!
  2. A very detailed and to-the-point sales thread. Ups for you bro!
  3. This is prolly one of the most conventional scaping, easy to set up with nice cave in the middle. I've changed mine around, but like this the most. Looking forward to your updates!
  4. Can! Till it grows lor! Btw, don't be deceived by the photos. Everything in my tank is nano (all small corals), so in order to frag, I need them to grow from frag size to colony. That could take awhile though...
  5. Erm... because they are new? TBH, the conditions of my zoas are average at best. There are many reefers out there who have awesome zoas that are thriving, which means, growing and multiplying very well. Good water perimeters, flow and lighting are major contributors to having healthy zoas, and I'm still trying to get there. If your polyps tend to extend their "stalk", lighting might be an issue.
  6. Hahaha... nice. I wonder which is worse, fish food or shoe smell...? Kekeke... Keep us updated on your progress!
  7. I find this hobby rather expensive even for working adults (well... to be more specific, people who receive pay checks instead of giving out pay checks ) and I think its already an accomplishment to be a reefer as a student. Since you're restarting, do look more into keeping good water perimeters and how to maintain them in the long run, while you let your tank go through the ANN cycle. Reefing is meant to be enjoyable, but if you get to a point when you're no longer enjoying it, time to quit.
  8. I actually use more than 48 bottles a month as I use it to mix with salt for water change. I don't use an FR, and cheato works just fine for me, so I save on running cost.
  9. Oh... its Golden Octopus. The address is as follows: GOLDEN OCTOPUS TRADING PTE LTD 472 UPPER SERANGOON ROAD SINGAPORE 534509 ( JUNCTION OF BARTLEY AND BRADDELL ROAD) They sell a wide range of exotic corals. A bit pricey compared to other LFSs, but the beauty of the corals are They do give good discount occasionally though. All the best for your DIY setup! Looking forward to your tank thread!
  10. Whew... and I thought you're stopping for good. You need to teach me how to use my Fujifilm S100 fs man! My photo taking skills still suck...
  11. Bro... how's everything? Haven't seen any updates for quite awhile.
  12. Heh... you must think of a foolproof way to prevent any salt water from getting into your shoe rack... it will be disastrous if any ladies' shoes get messed up.
  13. Haha... thanks... I kinda miss my old setup too... it was much simpler back then, but I got bored of it fast. I got these pink ones from GO. I probably stressed it too much when I had to perform 100% water change and rescape (changed some live rocks). Now having some diatom problems, so if any kind souls can spare me just a small bunch of cheato, I'd be very grateful.
  14. I have had my GSPs for about a year now, and they have a habit of withdrawing for a few days or even to a week before re-opening again. I'm not sure if this is its nature, but just be on the safe side, check your water perimeters to see if they are ok. Mine likes high flow and stronger lighting.
  15. Sigh... one of the pink yumas didn't make it. Just melted away. The other looks much better. Hope it grows bigger soon.
  16. Got these 2 polyps FOC. I thought they were pretty unique with the pointy tips. Could have taken a better picture though...
  17. Here's a toast to the new year! Collection during the long New Year weekend.
  18. Pls kindly pm me if you have some cheato to spare? I lost all my cheato during my overseas trip. Prefer serangoon north, or east side. Thanks in advance!
  19. That's great! You have the "touch" in growing zoas. Mine hasn't even covered the frag spot.
  20. Hey... A very Happy New Year to you! The emerald greens seem to have grown a bit... very nice.
  21. Wow... that's a pretty packed tank. Only scrubber and no skimmer? If I wanna build a scrubber for a new tank, where am I going to get the algae to seed it?
