  1. Nothing compared to yours, bro... mine are all frags. I'll prolly just let them grow for now.
  2. Side track a little... my dad's lionhead goldfish pair have spawned today.
  3. I have a pair lah... the other camera shy... My pair of firefish are hiding most of the time as well...
  4. I think I have 20 different types of zoas in this little tank now. Gotta stop buying...
  5. Bro... Armonia drop could mean Nitrite is at its peak, which is equally harmful to fishes. You have been doing well so far, don't let the impatience spoil everything. Just my 2 cents.
  6. Hahaha... I think the only salt she'll be touching are those used for cooking... heh. My mom is the number one dis-courager of fish keeping (even fresh water!)... that's why I keep my tank in the office.
  7. Wow... these are exotic rics... I wonder how much will it fetch...
  8. Any splash issues on the lights? They seem very close to the screens.
  9. That's great! Must have been quite tedious, but the effort is definitely worth it.
  10. Thanks to you, I have them now. Hehehe... How's the hunt?
  11. I'm assuming that the green basket in your display contains cheato? Heh... I have the exact basket for this purpose. Your scaping looks a little flimsy though... you might want sturdier rocks at the bottom for a stronger foundation. I like your DIY FR. If it works, you might wanna consider getting those tupperware bottles for a sturdier body. Keep us updated on your progress!
  12. Mine is like a frag tank now... so messy. Somehow, my camera is unable to capture true colours of my corals... it turns blue into purple.
  13. Looking forward to see the effects of the LEDs...
  14. Wouldn't it be better to get a Vortech MP20 instead? Should take up less space inside the tank.
  15. I use a JBJ ATO as well, and I do agree its simple to use. I wish to have more float switches that could work with the set though, to provide an extra level of disaster preventive measure.
  16. I love all 3 tanks... its wonderful to have your family reefing together with you. Very nice sunnies and SPSs.
  17. Well... I've tried fine tuning this guy for awhile, and I think it performs best at this state. Yes, I do like it wet... hehehe...
  18. I can't remember, but I think I bought it from GO. Shouldn't cost more than $20 for this. Mine is a very small rock.
  19. Heh... my tank is jam packed now. My corals need more room... upgrades are coming along, slowly but surely. I need to learn to take better pics so I can update more.
  20. Well... I guess its a little risky. Its easier to manage with an auto top-off device since you deal with a pump and electrical stuff, plus ways to cut off the pump if the top up tank is empty, etc. Cost vs risk issue.
  21. Simple and affordable DIY! Care to show more pics and details on the auto top-up system?
  22. I think it should be bigger exposed surface area that experience faster evaporation.
