If you would have posted 3 months earlier, I would have arranged to meet up. I was just at San Diego last november for training, and wanted to look for some US zoas while I was there, but didn't know my way around.
Welcome to SRC!
Hahaha... you've got a beautiful specimen too! Very intense red. I was interested in the kryptonite yumas, but the distance deterred me from going. Sigh...
I like your pipefish, and how your nano tank is colouring up! Great job!
I see you have a nice little bunch of pink zoas just beside the main colony on the left. If you plan to frag those, let me know?
Getting a pro-colour should be nice...
Erm... my combo is TM Pro Reef Salt + Alpheus Distilled Water = 8.1 pH. Its a brand new pH monitor that I bought only 2 weeks ago, which is calibrated with the 2-point calibration (ph 4 and ph 7).
I think you should adjust the white balance of your camera settings first. I've experienced taking photos that turned out too blue with my camera, and after adjusting the WB (I selected fluorescent setting), the photos turned out fine.
Hahaha... your kids can't do without clowns isn't it? Are you getting them to be involved in the maintenance, like water changes, etc? Its good to show them that behind every successful tank, there's a lot of effort to keep it going.
I'm sorry if it sounds like a noob question, but what's a hikari box? Also, when you mentioned tape, what did you use it for? To seal the box or plastic bags? I'm just trying to figure out how the whole "shipment" took place...
Bro... thanks for your compliments, but mine's really a noob tank. Besides, I got most of my frags from Sis Ming, so pls don't mention my tank in front of the real experts.
