  1. I'll match your previous sales price. You can take mine for S$100.
  2. Sorry to hear your lost... sometimes we wonder why bad things always happen when we are not around...
  3. Your anemone is definitely the center piece of your reef now. Beautiful specimen.
  4. Do you need an additional MP40? 1 MP20 not enough...?
  5. No way! I have a lot more to learn from you guys for photo taking. Its really tempting to go down the DSLR road, but I know my finances won't allow me to keep 2 expensive hobbies...
  6. I was a victim (or culprit) of short circuiting my equipment due to splash quite some time back, and now have resorted to keeping the electrical plugs and switches above my tank height. Its kinda messy though, and very unsightly, especially for an office setup. Some of my colleagues have already made some comments and expressed concerns of the numerous plugs clustered together. So... pls feel free to provide suggestions on how to make things tidy and safe? I was planning DIY some kind of splash guard to house all the plugs neatly, but I would love to see some photos from fellow reefers setup to get some ideas? TIA!
  7. I do have zoas that did not open up for 2 weeks but blossomed later, so dun give up on it. Neglecting your tank will not be as bad as neglecting your studies, so all the best! However, don't reach a point where livestock's health is compromised.
  8. Thanks bro! Can't be compared to yours! Btw, where did you get your CRS from?
  9. I have no clue... only read somewhere in the forums that frag plugs are available at RD. $12.50 for 25 pcs seem reasonable though. I was looking at the big frag discs as well. Are you in Aussie at the moment?
  10. Bro, mind showing some photos of your EOS? Would love to drop by too to take a look in-person if possible...
  11. I second this. Spoke to him as well during Aquarama. I'm waiting for it too!
  12. Wow... is that some kind of alarm system with lights & sirens when things go wrong?
  13. So you were the one who bought it! Nice catch! Hmmm... you should have kept your girlfriend's live rocks a month ago... those were pretty good IMO.
  14. Oh no... what happened? When I set the pump to max, the water level for this tank is rather high though... could that be the cause?
  15. Makes me wanna keep CRS again... do post some pics when it is set up!
  16. Oh my... even your planted tank looks amazing! So that's what you have been busy with! I used to keep crystal red shrimp for fun (the low grade ones), but lost interest quickly. Marine is in my blood...
  17. Oh no... sorry to hear that. I was there on sat, and reached their booth around 7 plus, near to closing time. Most of the sales people looked tired, but nevertheless, were friendly and helpful as there were quite a few customers there. Some customers were obviously first time hobbyist as they were asking rather interesting questions, but the guys there seem to handle them well, so I was surprised that this happened to you. I agree that customer service is one important factor for me to revisit a place again.
  18. What happened? I thought they were pretty friendly. The guy who served me insisted on explaining the details of the tank to me even when I've already mentioned I'll take one.
  19. I've been using this skimmer for slightly more than a year, and the impeller still looks fine. However, the sealing for the electrical portion of the motor is not so good. Mine had a crack, and water went in, causing the pump to fail. I was fortunate that I could get away without electrocuting myself or the fishes...
