Let us just say that they are being responsive and responsible at this time. Since final verdict is still out, I prefer not indirectly inflict any damages to their reputation.

I have been growing chaeto for years. I only know the following is true. 1. They need flow 2. They can grow in 10k light but grows better after the light gets old. I suspect the spectrum shifts. 3. I grow them using warm white light in my sump 4. ww cfl is better than ww led. (cfl at higher wattage)

Hi gurus, My tank is quite old (not sure exactly how old as it was 2nd hand) and I can see the silicon seals degrading from the edges. The cabinet is still in a pretty decent condition, except for rusty door hinges that need replacing. Is it advisable for me to: 1. Get someone to make repair the old tank 2. Get someone to make a new tank with same specs as replacement 3. Get another 2nd hand tank set? I have a very tight budget for my hobby so a brand new tank set is out of the question for me. Any recommendations for tank makers for option 1 and 2? Thanks!

scrubber does not use white light. You may need to hunt for warm white led. Lol
