Recap: There are 3 types of people when they post photo. 1. Photos shows close to what your eyes see in their tank. 2. Photos photos are edited to boost their EGO. 3. Photos do justice to their tank. For no. 3, sometimes no choice as their camera used no so high quality so White balance is out. But for no. 2, posting photos just serves to boost their ego, telling other pple hey, I have this and that type of sps with all these photos.... I am better than the rest Serves no purpose at all lar When the truth is out, like I said earlier reputation all gone.

weisoon, I've no issues on the wear and tear on the O-ring. In fact I am ready to replace them when it starts to leak. I need to clarify this part too before I am mis-quoted. It takes 2-3hours because this includes the time needed to wash the 30kg of rowalith which is fine like sand. You could always not that do and pour the rowalith directly into the CR and this case maybe take 5mins. However I prefer to wash the media many many times until it is clean. The other way would be to pour the rowalith w/o washing into the CR then flush the CR with tap water (with the CR circulation pump running) until the water in the chamber turns clear.

When that happens in the deltec skimmer, it's due to either the O-ring wear and tear (which is normal for all O-ring) due to usage or the user never tighten sufficiently.
