  1. I guess just stand-by aged saltwater for standby just in case.
  2. I got just a few corals and 3 anemone in my 100 litres and no fish, don't think that is going to give some trouble right? I am monitoring the bioload at this moment.
  3. review? Have no experience on using the kalk reactor before. Anyway setting up is very easy, with the kalk reactor, no need to prepare the kalk solution anymore just put the kalk powder into the reactor, set a timer to run the mixing motor 15min once every hr. This works hand in hand with the tubby and so I top with kalk now. Hopefully can help to keep the pH more stable.
  4. I bought from Paris Ris farm. I dunno if it dies it will crash your tank or not. Anyway now with 4ft and powerful skimmer I don't worry as much as previously in my 100 litres. Wear gloves when handing it Go buy the corallife rubber gloves, very good.
  5. kalk reactor from Cookiemunster. Just realise he was also from the navy previously.
  6. EV-240 in action. 6 hrs after firing up.
  7. pregnant skunk shrimp. Will catch and put in refigium soon.
  8. Just visit the LFS and fish farm every weekend and you can find these small ones. I bought this from TM in Parsi Ris. Normally pple don't buy these type so small one because they still sell at same price as the larger one.
  9. My clam, bubble, scallop, mushroom and prata.
  10. my pink luminous BTA, besides it a brown anemone. The LR they stick on are transferred together with them from my 100 litres tank, a bit of algae, once they move away I will take it out and give it a good scrap.
  11. went out for dinner and back home and the BTA already moved all the way into the strainer, I removed it and check the foot for damage. Found no damage so relocated it to a safe area in the tank.
  12. I transferred my anemone from the 100 litres to the 4ft and this BTA end up got suck into my tunze. When I saw it, 1/2 of the BTA already into the strainer. Luckily discovered in time. Else sure die. Luckily only 50cents coin sized I think die also won't crash the tank. I quicky remove the strainer and put it onto the LR so it can slowly move out.
  13. Nassarius Snail? Came together with the livesand from Maxima, thanks
  14. nothing special done. They just appeared to carry eggs then about 2 weeks later disappear (hatched). This time I will try to catch the pregnant one then put in refigium then see can raise or not. Strange thing is that I only dose DT only once every 4 days and 7.5ml for my 100 litres tank.
  15. daddy/mommy of the fries. Now another one pregnant, better catch and keep in the refigium
  16. Transferring LS over from my 100 litres tank. See what I found in the refigium? (LR from the 100litres was moved over to the refigium in my new 4ft. I thought I saw some baby guppies. So far only seen 2 and they keep moving around, very difficult to photograph. Size around 3mm. Fries from my skunk shrimp. My 100 litres tank had an outbreak of ick and that killed all my clownfish so I had the tank without fishes for more than a month already.
  17. confirmed liao, passed away this morning was in the news. That's if the new is reliable.
  18. I had a big problem trying to keep my cat indoor when she was younger (less than 2.5yrs old), every night she will be out. Noticed that when you keep a female cat, more cats will come visit her, end up lots of cats and fights every night. Luckily no complains from my neighbours. After 2.5yrs they seems to get old, lazy and not so active. Oh there was once that black female cat I mentioned earlier gave birth and hide her kitten in my room behind the cupboard, no wonder every night I am hearing meow meow meow and it sounds like coming from outside the windows, now that is 12 floors up.
  19. I don't think they allow you to keep cats in HDB flats. Small dogs are okie. Reason because cats wonder around and disturb your neighbours.
  20. Liverock means rocks that have baterial living on it. That's why it's called liverock. No need light to "keep them alive"
