  1. I need to buy one, so need recommendation. You meant those with the blade one?
  2. which algae scrubber you using?
  3. sure damn power, what pump you intend to use for that?
  4. when's that one coming heheheh... how abt triple tower?
  5. I already using EV-240, don't tell me 4ft + 2ft go EV-400? or dual becket?? so potent is it? lol. Go DIY one 4ft tall one and runs off a MD-70.
  6. 29 is old??? At least still can pass IPPT easily, wait till you reach 40 lol.
  7. I think benz.... is selling his 5ft setup and maybe got some LR left. All big pieces.
  8. wow......... since the 2ft cube will be connected to my 4ft, I also scared of bioload Come come suggestion suggestion, I need them.
  9. Is this the actual photo of your brother's tank? Looks very similar to James72. Hmm... if that's the case, I didn't know he had so many (same) units of "used" MH for sale.
  10. Seriously, go visit your tank, no need to go underwater world already man. Clam tank can get overcrowded meh? I thought can jam pack, line up in rows lol. Heheh my 2ft everyone on standby, filled with freshwater since 2 weeks ago, just haven't not add salt and start the pump. All will be running. Still thinking what to keep inside lol. Perhaps skip on the SH cos don't think have time to feed them daily. Was thinking of a goby tank or some "ah pek" type fish tank.
  11. I had one firegoby jump out of the tank while I was sitting in front viewing it. Very heng else it would have become salted fish. Now it's still kicking in my tank. Sometimes when they die, they get stuck between the LRs and then the cleanup crew will strip them down to bones very quickly so you don't get to see them.
  12. Still got one XXXL in CF but the price is $######, auntie says unlisted price... too $$$$ lol. When you wanna reduce bioload let me know hor
  13. that day one brother was selling his medium size one, I immediately PM but still lost the deal. Seems like I not fated to keep saifin tang. CF got one small one, the tail is not yellow but I not sure if it is the red sea one so dare not buy. LCK 110 also got one but kind of skin & bone only I also don't dare to buy. Seems like when they are younger the coloring is lighter right?
  14. hiak...... if only mine didn't practise "high jump"... sob sob, still hunting for a nice one. CF no more stock. Saw your photo makes me sob only
  15. I think for this case, the fuse did not trip but rather the ELCB tripped. End up everything lost power. Hmm.. makes me think better to isolate my tank power point to another ELCB so when my house power trip, it does not trip my fish tank. Meanwhile I still sourcing for the true sine wave inverter You'll still require backup batteries and charger.
  16. Try this, I found a cheaper one but from UK. In the US mostly their units are for 110Vac and 230vac ones cost a lot more. http://www.maplin.co.uk/products/module.as...202&modulecode=
  17. checked already, abt US$300. Add shipping etc end up around SG$600. But if really electical failure then it will save all your LS. I think it is a must.
  18. I freight it directly from the US, it was like 7 years ago. Mine is not the prosine series, just the charger only. I know there's another brand of invertor that has true sine wave but much cheaper. I'll have to go look again
  19. errrm.... actually I've a statpower charger for those deep cycle batteries (rated for 20amps) and the instruction says you could parallel it to charge the batteries as well as power your stuffs. Doesn't the Tunze runs on 12V for the lower flow models? Can always bypass the transformer then no need a rectifier already.
  20. Get a UPS with 300Ah deep cycle backup battery, confirm can run one tunze for many days
  21. wouldn't just by reducing the salinity of the quarantine tank for 2 weeks be good enuff to ensure non of the parasites can survive the free floating stage? No need to use copper. Dropping the SG will kill the corals as well.
  22. add a compartment and add some foam, that will help with the bubbles. Make a cover so prevent salt spray from the bubbles.
  23. Both are DE. Give victron a call, they might have 150W SE bulbs.
  24. Was at victron today and was introduced to this new Japanese bulb they trying to intro. Looks pretty blue to me and the spectral characteristic is attached. Probably those experts out there wanna comment? There's two peak, one at abt 420nm and the other 450nm. According to the boss, the pricing will be good so thought might be an alternative.
