  1. I using Nikon D70. Using the 18-70mm lens that comes with the kit. There's some basic you should know but I know there's a lot of professional photographer's here so better not talk too much The close up are sharp because of the raw resolution of the CCD chip and of course the lens plays a big part.
  2. I just prepare a bit for testing But since you invited I will go buy all the raw material then try to make it heheh cheap and good ah....
  3. I do not have all the ingredient to your recipe so I just make do with whatever I can find from my home. Here's what I add. 4 cube of mysis. 2 small lump of cyclopeez. 4 drops of kent garlic. 3x3cm of nori 40 pellet of NLS pellet. 20 pellet of kent super herbivour pellet mixed and press to past form.
  4. Pui Pui tang project - Part II in progress. Started feeding on "weileong's Marine Rojak". Result is good. Blue Tang, Yellow Tang, Salifin Tang, Achillies Tang eating on this. Oh yes Foxface as well. Sohal tang only picks up the left over food on the LR and sandbed. Before the tunze starts up and sweep them away of course). Super fat tang coming soon Be warned, this is super water pollution so can't feed too much unless you're sure your skimmer can handle it.
  5. very nice clown. If not for my tank that is polluted by tangs I would have bought it as well. I think there's 2 more at the LFS. Very amazing price too
  6. I used the auto mode. No special setting.
  7. wow damn power man! Now you know the difference between something that work and something that don't
  8. when you upgrade your pump the situation will get worst
  9. Bro Roidan, wanna run the 2ft separately so easier to control the water parameters. Cannot share chiller already. Use vaccum cleaner still some dust but use water confirm no dust
  10. If you go find out CF's price then you won't say this is $$$ already. But true, so small I won't buy for my 4ft too, my sohal one mouth can finish him off already.
  11. No flood for sure Just inject water into the hole while you drill will be fine. You don't setup the 2ft cube wait the soccer god angry then how? lol
  12. Just pump lots of water while you drill thru the wall then no dust fly around already
  13. drill a hole and goes into the room behind the tank ?
  14. Use your RA680 for the 2ft cube then run 400W. For your reef tank get another chiller and put in outside your house
  15. Once coraline algae fully cover the glass bottom then also quite nice Or use a thin layer of sand then protect with LR ? Deepblue: I might go with the maxijet for my FOWLR, no ned a lot of current but definately more than what I am getting now (almost no current) which is no good. Was thinking of a 6060 before. Roidan, 2.5ft deep means you need higher power MH already. Somemore footprint is 2x2 so you can't really make a gentle slope.
  16. yes yes small little cute babies. Reminds me of fresh water puffer fish. They don't go nib on other fishes tail do they?
  17. With a huge skimmer running and high turn over, do you really still need a sandbed? The DOC would not have chance to break down.
  18. Update: Purple tang feeding very well as usual, eats everything. A bit aggressive so might put it into the 4ft and let the bigger tangs handle him. Naso not eating yet but pecking on LR. Chevron, eating mysis. I am really amazed by the quality of the LS where I bought the chevron. I will be back there for more! Black back butterfly, just started to eat mysis but only those that dropped on the LR. Watchman goby, picking up all the food the drops on the bottom of the tank. I need some suggestion of what other interesting fish I should add to this FOWLR, maybe a boxfish? Saw it at a reefer's place last night and looks very cute to me
  19. lol... now you're addicted to the AT huh? You can see why I had to get my beckett and then to fatten up my tangs
  20. The bubbles was not doing well in my 4ft anyway so put in 2ft and try. The butterfly are not pecking on it so I guess they do have a choice when it comes to night snack. After I nurse it back to health I can give it away to my buddies already
  21. Snack for the butterfly. Now they are really eating
  22. To celebrate your coming 2ft SPS. When you think it is ready, you can just pick anyone of the lime green staghorn frag Judging at the rate they are growing when your 2ft is ready they should be quite tall already
