  1. The last thing you should do is add any new fish to further stress it. But add liao bo pian. All the best to your AT.
  2. Got it for so long ago, can't remember but should be ard $60. Can get from petmart.
  3. Wow piang... looks very critical. Is it still eating?
  4. Oh ya when you're ready to frag, I'll exchange with a frag of my pink millepora
  5. This is the autofeeder that I bought.
  6. I am using the APC smart-UPS. You can contact APC singapore on where they are avaliable.
  7. been using one on my reef for the past 8 months on 4ft feeding pellets 6x a day and so far so good.
  8. Two weeks hyposalinity is too short. Some of the fish might still carry the ich parasite. You need a min of 3 weeks or if better 6 to 8 weeks so ensure all the ich parasites has undergo at least 1 life cycle.
  9. Wow more chio after the adjustment hor? lol.
  10. The only lights I have is a 36W PL artinic
  11. Moorish and Monk. Can you see the V-shaped pattern-in-white on the tail?
  12. tyrobin, definately Roidan's AT is the much fatter, larger and more beautiful one, mine is far far behind Some updates of my monk tang. The tail is getting beautiful. No lights so have to use flash and it doesn't do justice to the beauty of this fish.
  13. I keep my parameters close to NSW levels all the time. Somemore the zeovit method requires that your parameters are close to NSW levels as well.
  14. advanced stage ich quickly use copper or hyposalinity
  15. yes controlled dosing. Just enuff to keep the kH stable in my tank. How keeping it ard 7 with the kH buffer. I take ard 10 litres of DO/RI water with the kH buffer then drip it for 24hrs. Before that my kH also ard 7 with my CR but then Ca just stick to ard 490ppm. Just measured my Ca and still ard 415ppm so I guess I measure again tomorrow and see if I can put my CR back online.
  16. You try to look at your corals from the top without looking thru the glass and you'll see much better colors. This is especially true for SPS and clams. But then if your corals got no colors in the first place, no need to use low iron glass, there will certainly be no diff
  17. Last shot for the day. Top view of blackie. My orange monti also recovered from stress already.
  18. another side. Blasto wall at background, expanding soon Same side but under different lighting and the teardrop coloring also different.
  19. Blackie got injured today. Normally got some slight injury to the dorsal fins but today the "right hand" pectoral fin is injured, looks quite scary. Prime suspect, Yellow tang.
  20. A bit off-topic Talking about this, my CR has been offline for the last 5 days. Finally my Ca has dropped from 490ppm down to 415ppm last night and should be 400ppm this evening. Meanwhile I dose kH buffer till crazy
  21. looking at finding a good home for it more than the money. Of course I can't give it away as a lot of pple would just cheong in to grab without thinking if they really want it or not. This tang is more suitable for 5ft or larger tanks.
  22. There is no escape from the ANN cycle. Even you shift everything over. As mentioned before the cycling time will be much shorter. Maybe 2-3 weeks. But still better to use test kit to confirm.
