End up someone tank crash because that particular brand chiller kon out and LS kanna fried. Nowadays don't see them toking too much abt these chiller anymore. IMHO want to buy better buy something reliable and that can confirm cool down your tank properly and your tank temp won't shoot up beyond the set point even hot and non-windy days. Cos your tank relies on the chiller to cool it.

If you got a garang chiller that can hold the temperature why is there a need to worry abt the temp shooting up? Unless you get a chiller that can barely keep up with the cooling so on extra hot days it can't keep the temp down and instead the temp just keep shooting up. When this happen, just shut down the lights

One of the purpose of keep macro is for nutrient export and fast growing macro are good. By pruning them weekly you achieved what you want.

So far after I tested with PO4 meter, rowacarbon leaches undetectable PO4. The rest I tested quite horrible. Not going to mention brand else later get slammed.

At sg 1.008 you need to tune the skimmer very wet then can get skimmate. Some skimmer will not even skim anything. Cos most of the proteins will remain dissolved in the water at that low SG compared to full 1.025. If you so scared then setup a quarantine tank for the corals and LR

That time you added the AT w/o hypo treating it that's why it brought in the ich lor. Try to pump up your AT and it should do well. Nitrate problem can be solved by using a better skimmer or more regular water changes.

sorry, the SCV 6.4mbps plan uplink is 384K (finally SCV decided to wake up ) Singnet 1.5mbps and 3.5mbps uplink is 350k. Sounds good for video streaming, at least 3x more bandwidth compared to the miserable 128k for the SCV 1.5mbps plan.

Even if they offer maxonline 10,0000 they still fixed the uplink to 128k only. This is no better than singtel 256k ADSL with 128k uplink. The 512k and higher ADSL services have uplink of 256k, beats the SCV pinhole 128k uplink anytime. This is very important for using IP cam. The D-link IP cam supports the dyndns directly so dynamic address is no problem. If not you can always get a router that supports dyndns. Patrick if not sure what I am talking about then just pay the guys at the shop to setup for you.

The UPS still runs on lead acid cell. The Ah (amps-hr) rating is rated on a certain low amps (example 500mA). If now you draw a current of 1Amps then Ah rating will be lower than when you are drawing 500mA. For example for a 150Ah deep cycle battery (rated at 5amps), you draw 5amps and it will supply you current for 30hrs. Now you draw 25amps it probably can supply only abt 3 hrs. For the higher rated UPS they are designed to handle bigger current, uses larger battery so a double increase in rating usually means a much higher increased in battery size and circuitry and also more $$$$
