  1. oh BTW there is always the AP902 rated to 550gallons at $2250 10" dia, 900mm tall running 2x1260. Same one Alfar using.
  2. All the 3 skimmers are external skimmer and they all requires additional pump and pipings to work. For AP850 it already comes with the hose adaptor so you can just provide the pump and flexible hose. I still prefer to use the connection kit
  3. Local prices. Please correct me if I am wrong. Aquamedic 5000 baby - $1800 rated up to 2252 litres (500 gallons) Deltec AP850 - $1300 rated 1500 Ltrs (333 gals) H&S A-200-1260 - high $2k+ rated 1200 litres Performance wise would be difficult to qualify.
  4. errrmmm then your lemon peel market price is how much?
  5. Errrmmmmm.. you comparing how rare is the fish or how beautiful is the fish??? I very confused liao.
  6. 4 X $*0 = $*** then minus $180 you have enuff for a few chromis
  7. you try read the instruction for dosing, I think you dose too little.
  8. Can buy at least 4pc CF lemon peel + some change for a few more chromis
  9. funny hor now the hobby is pia who got the most $$$ fish, pengz. Come on lar if you feel that particular fish is nice then buy lor, if you think that fish is nicer than this fish and vice versa then by all means buy the fish. Action speaks louder than words.
  10. +/- a bit to adjust for wet/dry skimmate
  11. The blue line still a bit low. Should be the joint above the blue line Don't take out the airline, you're going to flood your cabinet.
  12. The other side. A little out of focus but I wonder what it is looking at???
  13. Deltec recommends a pH of 6.2 to 6.4 for rowalith. But now I running mine at around 6.4.
  14. The AP series are recirculating design, so dwell time are longer. However if your requirement is to place the skimmer of certain rated capacity under the cabinet(in-sump) then the turbo skimmer is better. For the same rated capacity the turbo series are physically shorter.
  15. What media are you using and what CR
  16. depends on your requirement. The turbo series are shorter in height and specially design to be place in the sump (under the cabinet).
  17. The turbo skimmers are in-sump skimmers. Means non-recirculating design.
