  1. Selling the following SPS. Collection in Haig Road weekdays evening 7pm onwards or weekends Item 1. Purple tip acro - $30
  2. Maybe look for lobang on Northwest, they seems to have offer good prices.
  3. One thing, not all expensive equipments translates to good equipments. This is a point that everyone should realise. Perhaps the "expansive" word in this topic should be changed to "proper/reliable" instead. To me, even with expansive equipments you still might not have better reef. With equipments that works properly and proper husbandry then you will have good reef. The word good is also relative. Good in one person's eye but not so good in the others.
  4. More reliable equipment = easier to use/tune & less tunning required. (Eg, having a good regulator/needle valve, no need to always tune the CO2 for CR, better needlewheel skimmer and more stable skimming so no need to always tune the skimmer and less prone to choking when you least expects it) Usually this translates to less time spend on the reef and you can get a life elsewhere instead of spending all your time on your reef. (eg like spending more time on your studies, going out with friends etc). However most of the time this also means more expansive equipment.
  5. monti from Jim, more than 2x the size since I got it.
  6. Purple tips with white polyps. PR aquacultured shipment.
  7. I know what you're thinking about, that is polyps doesn't move.
  8. Requested by one bro here. Close in of the polyps.
  9. That particular acro with baby blue polyps is abt 1.5ft from the front of the tank. No problem la, as long as the shot is nice who cares right? But the word "super macro" can be quite misleading. The rhodactis shots is great. I converting my 2ft into softies tank, time to go hunt for one
  10. Here's an example of a macro shot (still not "super" yet).
  11. Okie, some macro shots. Purple polyps rosari, polyps too bright so make it difficult to to meter properly.
  12. This can only be considered as close in shot only. But still nice photo. You might like to consider turning off all wavemaker and return pump so you can capture the polyps nicely.
  13. seems like it consist of a few shorter tank joined together?
  14. Any copper added will turn your LR into dead rocks, copper is very toxic and makes no difference is 1/2 the recommended dosage (usually recommended dosage is around 0.5mg/l). 50% recommended dosage is 0.25mg/l and that is sufficiently high enuff to kill the marine velvet but insufficient to kill the ich parasite. Suggest you dose copper in a QT instead.
  15. you'll retain blocks of stone/gems/lover protection/stallion/hat/tatto.
  16. I think should be no problem, angels have pretty "thick skin" and can tahan your PBT attack.
  17. Time for some updates, my tank has reached it's 2nd anniversary today. Waited 6 months for red sea shipment and finally it came 2 days again and I grab this fella. Already started to eat pellets.
  18. that is transition period, the algae will be gone if you can keep your tank clean.
  19. How abt those areas under the LR where you cannot vaccum them? With BB you can have a close loop or tunze them out.
