  2. Don't worry lar... next time when they grow older then they will kanna throw away and suffer
  3. Tune properly lor then no have headache liao. Keep headache then what's the point of reefing?
  4. Let me know early so I can frag it before hand. Best go underwater electric cutter, will make fragging so much easier.
  5. Remove all the fish and keep the main tank fishless for 8 weeks. Put those fishes into quarantine tank and perform hyposalinity for 8 weeks at sg 1.008 and 10dkh to prevent pH crash at low sg. Quaratine all new fishes and perform hyposalinity or copper treatment depending on the disease if any in future. Go check out the diesease section, has been discussed to death.
  6. No wonder never hear from you last shipment. Ping pong ball sized colony how to share? Give it time to grow lor. But look for the super quick hands one, they grab very big colony lol.
  7. Lesson learn should be always quarantine new fishes.
  8. Your hands super fast one, already grab a few super chio one from PR last few shipment, where got don't have? My house one are nothing compared to yours lah
  9. Very nice color from Bro Simon, Stanley, you switched so many method and must have found the best way to keep sps right? Share some of your super chio GEMs with us lei ? Don't be so selfish hor
  10. Another way is to use a lot of those red pails or coralife tube. One pail abt 20litres Then you save the DHC ticket liao. You'll need the scoop too right?
  11. Wow you very pro in HC hor Got someone looks like her working there ma. BTW, Singapore so small, drive to the east no problem for your fast and powerful car lar.
  12. No photos and you dare say "update" ???
  13. Can change to DHC or not? Oh ya Madmac's SPS in the avatar damn chio... dunno can frag or not heheh.
  14. yup lor.... she was suffering as the skin at the neck was starting to rot. I tried to help her by washing it daily but she was suffering so much that no choice the vet suggest putting her down. Guess it was the best choice for her. Anyway when keeping pets is just natural for us to feel this way when they leave us as we eventually treat them as part of our family. Up till now I have no regrets as I keep her all the way till she pass away. Those pple that just throw their pets away because they grow old and sick and no more chio chio must be shot ah
  15. I can only confirm my schedule next sat probably towards end of the week so if you still cannot find pple then let me know. Massage can join or not? heheh Forgot you going to drain out your old tank water so that makes total of 200L which should be sufficient. I didn't drain out my old tank water when I went thru it so just prepare salt water with RO/DI water as I go alone. Luckily got booster pump else sure got to wait till I fainted. For point 6, suggest you add in salt water else you might kill those bacterial. Prepare to handle those yucky worms I got so many of them in my tank, yeee Your SPS will love it after going BB.
  16. My cat of 17yrs old died due to kidney failure caused by diabetes and that also did not stop me from reefing. I kept her since she is 5 months old, you say sad or not? Most of the time, very common reasons is lack lost of interest but that could be due to trying varous method but end up with not much results
  17. Simon, Wow congrats for the backbreaking But seriously I doubt 80L will be sufficient. Maybe prepare 200L.
  18. Where got need those acrylic stuffs, just turn off all your wavemakers and return pump will do the trick.
  19. Those worms are different from this bristleworm which had create all those "tunnels" on the colony which you can see from the photos where the SPS has encrusted over it but w/o any polyps. I had to cut the colony up, following the tunnels and finally get rid of it. Looks my super glue skills is not bad, now you can't see the cut lines.
  20. 31st May 05 Bristleworm removed from the colony on 5th June 05
