I understand and fully agree with you. However I was conned cos the LFS (ah beng shop in Paris Ris) assured me it is not an anemone and it doesn't eat fish. Just need to feed "chemical solution". Really want to puke now cos got conned. I am glad that I found someone to adopt it already.

Muriatic acid is another number for HCL and does not refer to any conc. Max conc you can get is 37%, this is very strong and gives out a lot of pumes and of course if you breath in then you can imagine what will happen to your lungs

The concentrated ones are abt 37% max. Other than the gloves and goggles you need to be careful of the fumes as well. We usually handle it in the gas chamber. I guesss 100ml should be sufficient for your usage. Or you want to try nitric acid? This one I don't have it here.

need license to buy the HCL even in diluted form. How much do you need? I can "kapo" some concentrated ones from my lab for you but don't tell anyone

I had my pump replaced FOC by Yi Hu, that's after Paul from Redsea asked them to replace the pump for me, you might refer to the earlier message for details. Now the skimmer is running like new liao. However my prizm is only 1 month old. I talked to Peter from Yi Hu who helped me to replace the pump. He said that no spare pumps are avaliable. You might have to bug Yi Hu to bring in the spare motors. I was also told that Redsea is redesigning the impeller cos pple complain the bubbles are not fine enuff.

Cofirm or not it's Aiptasia, bcos I could see 3 or 4 in my tank. and you said Inject, means use syringe and do injection direction into the aiptasia but they are so small. Or do you meant by lowering the pH ?
