all these colorimeter still require all those reagent. There is really not much difference from buying the test kits.
Do you really want to spend like SG$500 on a colorimeter and later still have to spend on the reagent?
Hanna instruments also have a multi-parameter colorimeter as well. I think can measure 36 parameters.
if my current tank don't have the ick, I would have taken the clown from you. Saves me the trouble to go around looking for them.
Still in the mist of 2 months time for the ich to all die out.
looks like some cute hamster.
Wow still remember I keep them more than 10 yrs ago. Was fun and after they start to mate and reproduce heheheh end up all male one cage, all female one cage.
that means only single point calibration and not so accurate. For a little bit more you can get those that allows 2 point calibration. But for our use I think good enough already.
Has a used I~Ref for sale, about 2 weeks old.

Selling bcos upgrading my tank and need to move this current 100L to another part of the house which will be used as hospital tank.
No more need for I~Ref as the new tank will have a refigium in the sump.

Will throw in a 1ft PL Ocean Free light plus a weipro 500 ph for circulation of water into the I~Ref. You can take the 6" DSB as well as the 3pc of small LR in there. If you don't want then I will tear it apart and wash it clean. In total a bonus cost of more than $30-$40.
You take this deal and you save something like $60-$70.
Pls PM if interested. Hope to sell before/over the weekend.
thanks for the offer, I need 4ftx2ft. If yours not enuff nevermind
I remember those DIY shops I saw are selling those netting with large (1cm) holes. Not sure if they had small ones like those green color metal ones that pple in kampong used to cover the window.
calibration cannot be avoid even on the most expensive top of the end units.
This is caused by the deteroiation in the sensor (dirty liquid junction etc).
Luckily my dennerle pH controller got indicator to remind me to calibrate it but I admit sometimes I'm plain too lazy to do it.
Is it easy to calibrate the aquasentry ph meter? how many calibration liquid you need? Might need to buy one.
$1 difference? Then buy from outside shop then. Anyones in the east, best is in Ubi.
After get the egg crates, cut and tie with cable tie right? Not sure if they are strong enuff to support the LR.
Maybe do PVC piping and egg crate combo.
