I jam packed my refugium with all types of macro algae small, medium, large fern. The thin hairy type fern also. grape, brown ones etc etc. But they can't seems to push the PO4 below 0.5ppm. I running 2x36W PL in the 1ftx1ft refugium. Maybe I need a larger refugium. Very happy with the performance of the Rowaphos. Didn't even turn my water brown cos the filter capture all of it as it turn dark brown so I leave it there until the PO4 starts to increase again. Now considering getting carbon to help on the nitrate while my DSB matures.

I also tried your method of poke but I do it with the LR in the tank. End up the crab escape unhurt lol.

pls help me check cabinet for 2ftx2ftx2ft 10mm IOS tank using chenai wood. No need sump.

you referring to normal wood and not chenai wood? I really not sure too but I heard it cost like $300-$400 for the cabinet alone. The cheaper the better news for me lol.

if you're worried then remove them Else leave them alone. For me I want to try to remove every single one of them cos I worried they will attack my fishes.

where can get better deal?

I tried using market prawn in tilted chicken essence bottle but failed. Tried using mysis shrimp inside and quite successful to catch the crab. Now I use mysis shrimp + cyclop-eez and even more successful, probably you might like to give it a try. I think the strong smell attracts the crab.

heheh in this case my tank put 2-3 tangs should be no issue already. When tang police come I just use black cloth cover the tank then cannot see means safe already
