  1. The BLV14kk is whiteish, don't think anyone said it is blueish
  2. You will love the color and how your sps appears under it.
  3. If possible I would advise against doing that as you might damage the clam and leads to infection. Better to use a knife and slowly cut the byssal threads.
  4. Better secure all your flexible hose with metal hose clip. Cable ties are highly unreliable especially when you are running a pressure rated pump. You don't want the hose to come loose and your house get flooded?
  5. I know of another few more reefers with Goldflake that does no damage. However every fish is different Prata is very difficult to resist for those angels Luckily most of my corals are SPS.
  6. Maybe put ads in newspaper will have more effect. Care to share what happened?
  7. This is my 2nd goldflake, my first one jump out of the tank. Both of them are good reef citizens. The first one peck on my prata for the first 2 days but left it alone after that. This 2nd one didn't touch my clams, mushrooms and SPS. I've no more prata

  12. You can always install a strainer at the inlet of your overflow pipes. This will protect the overflow pipe from choking. Best to design your system so you have one spare overpipe in case the main one got choked.
  13. He meant that with BB you need powerful skimmer and higher flow to lift detritus into your sump so your skimmer can remove them.
  14. CR must use CO2, if not the media won't be able to melt. If you scared CO2 tank exploded, get good quality cylinders and have it certified for safety.
  15. Bro, you used the word experts very scary doubt got any bros dare to reply. I am not expert but here's what I do with success so far. Setup QT, keep all fish in QT under normal condition (SG) w/o use of copper for 2 weeks. Observe for signs of ich. No signs of ich then you may introduce the fish into main tank. If ich infection then either apply hypo for 2 weeks or use copper at 0.5mg/l for 2 weeks. Note for hypo at 2 weeks, you will need to shift the fish to another QT and raise the salinity back to normal levels before transfering the fishes back to the main tank.
  16. If I buy liao wrong size can you help to bring back to emart for exchange?
