  1. Very true I just checked my CR output wow dkh more than 60, I measured with the salifert kh test kit. I didn't believe so I measure it again also same results. Siao liao man I dripped at 1 drop every 2 secs and bubbling is 1 bubble/sec. I'll need to get your needle valve soon. Mine cheapskate type cannot tune properly. Now I increased the drip rate to 1 drop/sec, will monitor and see how it goes.
  2. yeah, mine between 8.39 to 8.17 for a 24 hrs duration. My refigium lighting is 24hrs. Guess I managed to solve my pH swing problem My kH stays around 8dkH, probably need to boost it up to 10 soon.
  3. wow..... your tank's photo looks as good as the real stuffs!
  4. Anyone has the Iwaki MD30 for sale? New or used is okie.
  5. hmm... wonder where they came from in this case.
  6. Something like these? They survived cos in my old 100 litres, there are no fishes, only coral and has lots of macro algae glowing. I dose DT daily. I lost them when I was without chiller for 2 days.
  7. maybe I damn suay, got the defective one. Not really defective but just the little variation in manufacturing and this one I had output is 25% lesser. Sian.....
  8. I've tried to close the gate valve but once I try to push the foam up, the water will rise into the foam tower, really head paint man When water raise up the foam tower means I already close more than you already. See how liao, got time then I go rearrange the sump. I just scared I got a "defective" one.
  9. only single tubing used right? No adaptors. I think if you using ehiem tubing then it is 19/25mm or something like that but ID is 19mm. Which hose fitting did you use? cos the P6000 comes out with 25mm threads. I really hesitate to put the pump in sump because did to do some major re-arrangment and my sump got no holes. Maybe need to get someone to come drill my sump but the glass is only 6mm. Cos ideally I wanna all my pumps to run externally.
  10. How abt a photo of the tubing used? Think if convenient I pass you my P6000 then you use it for a few days. I already clean the pump of all oils already. This is with the MD55. Gate valve fully open and air valve 20% closed. Super loud air ###### noise.
  11. looks very good! But mine with the P6000 only gives these foam. Water level already adjusted at the level of the foam tower. This is with the P6000 installed externally. Maybe need to put in sump then can get your results. BTW already packed up the untidy wiring, all went into the 2ft cabinet
  12. something like $5-6K. Actually depends mostly on the equipments.
  13. I install it via my chiller's outlet and return back to main tank. Will have it's own flow adjusted to abt 290 g/h when I redo all my piping (in progress).
  14. If add 2 units of this turbo-twist sure very power I'm going to put mine online later then monitor the ORP liao.
  15. try hai cheong. They are in Paya Ubi Industrial park.
  16. Got the reply from Tunze. reply as follows: The screws are M5 thread. We do offer a black coated stainless steel screw set as part 3000.244, these are 10mm longer for bigger tanks. The screws that are included are graphite reinforced nylon and usually only break if over tightened. It is not necessary to use much force. Titanium should work very well. End of Reply. Hmmm... black coated stainless steel. Just wondering if they are the same as those black cap screws sold in the hardware shops. I remember those get rusty easily. If I don't tighten the screws then you see the holder moving due to the tunze blowing.
  17. no lar he kanna the group one toto.
  18. I already used a screw driver to tighten it. Since it is hang onto the euro-bracing, all the force is acting on that screw. The "head" of that screw gave way and then the tunze just dropped to the floor. I'm surprised if no other pple with similar configuration gets the same problem. limsh1999, did the stainless steel cap screw rush/corrode in salt-water? Guess I'll have to go around hunting tomorrow.
  19. One of the PVC screw (the one nearer the rubber) holding my Tunze Stream broke off at the head and my tunze dropped into the tank. Luckily was feeding and had the food timer activated. If that had happened when I am away then sure sand storm. Was thinking of changing it to stainless steel bolts. Will that rust? Or maybe titanium bolts (very expensive.) Had use the other existing screw temporary but it will be time when it breaks off as well. Better get a good solution. See the picture for more details. The photo on the right is what's the current condition.
  20. I don't have $$$ how to bring to the coffin?? Really envy you man!
  21. Wanna buy the bigger unit? Then we share the freight together. How much did they quote you?
