I think my Mg level are low because I was dosing Kalk via my kalk reactor before my CR arrives. If after I restore my Mg levels and I still require dosing Mg additives then I will go get the Seachem Reef advantage Mg. That one is max of Mg, Cl and SO4.

But I made a mistake, didn't keep my 4ft fishless for another 2 months before I transfer all my stuffs over and soon the fishes also kanna ich. Now have to live with it. Luckily under control now. My 2 tangs body are very clean but once a while still see one or two dots on them. I guess my mistake is not Q my new fishes. But those are from CF lei. Still dunno where those ich came from

Just don't rush it hard with the toilet paper should not be a problem. Anyway there should not be any reason to rub it hard. Do you wet the toilet paper during cleaning? For the last time I wet it with water to clean the foam tower properly. No issue with the noise but just thought would be glad to reduce it. BTW my ears are already used to it One glance at the EV-240 foam tower and I will know if it is working or not. I cannot see thru the collection cup cos it's filled with those dry foam. I also use toilet paper, but aren't toilet paper some sort of tissue paper too? For foam tower I had to use my hands to wipe, for collection cup I just bring to toilet and spray with water, it will come out one but you just need to spray it harder : Wow then you see one piece one piece drop out like that. My skimmate drain tubing inside also thick thick mud, took a while to remove them too.
