  1. It's not promoting other skimmers but just telling you that the RSB might be too small capacity for a 6 footer. Bro Robe already used it and has experienced compared to a beckett so I don't know why you still insist it is more than sufficient for a 6 footer. Oh yes perhaps with very light bioload I can keep a 6 footer with no fish and just a few corals then probably a weipro will work too
  2. go to LFS and ask for "CARBON", remember to buy the filter bag for it.
  3. AT and a few other SPS + anthias freaks going for dual beckett sure got reason one right? Since RSB so good perhaps they should junk the dual beckett and use the RSB. Saves a bundle and electricity bills in the long run too!
  4. ya lor with that super clean water, sure veri colorful SPS.
  5. So I presume the RSB skimmer has kept your PO4 & NO3 at 0 ppm? Wow in this case I might junk my skimmer, get the RSB and save some money. I was just joking with Bro Rodian not to anyhow joke say don't need to think just go with RSB. There are so many skimmers out there that works very well. I don't know why now you bring in all the HS,EV .... aiyo
  6. 1)Brand and model - MeBner P6000 2)Flowrate - 6300 L/H 3)Price & warranty if any - SGD$250, 3 yrs (I think) 4)Electricity consumption (wattage) - 90W 5)Reliability - silent, low vibration and low heat.
  7. It doesn't "glow in the dark" one okie
  8. I give you an example. I used a XYZ brand small skimmer for a 6ft tank, yes the skimmer skims out kopi-O. Skims out MUD skims out coca cola, pepsi, sarsi etc. So cna I still say it works very well cos it skims out dark stuff? How do you know it skims your 6 footer clean? NO3, PO4 = 0 ?
  9. Getting Kopi-O does not meant the skimmer works well for your tank. It could still be underskimming.
  10. last one Really pecking everywhere and this YT has to floow it everywhere like scared it steal it's food. Too bad it's 2x her size lol.
  11. New friend for my yellow tang. Just introduced for 10mins and out swimming already. Keeps following him everywhere. Both pecking on the LR now. Hard to get a good shot as they are swimming around.
  12. Clownfish shiok shiok it's their "bed". Sleeping time for them too
  13. Main lights are just switched off. Left 150W BLV 20KK running. Evening time so Blue tang rushing to bed
  14. It is because of the upgrade from 150W to 250W MH? Mine was $60 then up to $180 I think this month confirm up again. Hiak....
  15. Bro, don't joke joke wait mislead others Wow if $$$ no objection I confirm go for dual beckett But then $$$ is a big problem so I stick to my EV-240. What to do, cut down on LS and feeding lor. Best to keep those fish that don't need to feed one lol.
  16. abt 3"-4" CF classify it as XL. Yes very beautiful. I got addicted to them once I first saw it at AT's place
  17. new LS today, Salifin tang Will post the proper photo once it's in the tank and out swimming, judging from experience, should be pretty fast for CF LS.
  18. Nope, I am currently using the 1.25hp Titanium by Dr chill. I think probably the flow rate plays a big part too. Too low then the water gets too cold then it'll cut off very fast
  19. I think it matters because the sensor for the temp probe will be at the inlet side so if you connect wrongly then the temp controller will sense the temp of the water coming out of the heat exchanger and then this will lead to very frequent cut-in/out of the compressor.
