there is some sort of spray that will get rid of the cats, just spray it at their "poo" spot and they will not return again. Bought it from some pet shop few years ago. If still don't work then trap the cat and send it far away.

As for the part on heating the ambient temp, I believe there should be no difference compared to using other reflectors. Same goes for heating up the tank too.

One week one post, keep the thead alive. Today with the help from one kind reefer I received my dimmable ballast, finally I could simulate the sunrise and sunset this will provide my LS with more natural enviroment. At the request of the reefer, the details on the ballast were "censored" out. Will post more review once I get it setup.

Reducing the effluent during the off period helps save some CO2. You cannot shut down the effluent totally as that might have some negative effects. Yours is the analog controller, the EXT takes pulse input so basically your stroke frequency is controlled by inputting external pulse into the EXT and COM input. The STOP is to stop the pump. aquabeAnz, my guess is not much choice, for your case just set the effluent rate higher and clean the ball valve more frequently will help.
