I think the ich will attack the grills first so when the ich gets serious the fish has problem breathing. I feel it is very important to fully saturate the water with oxygen so in the event of heavy ich attack the fish got more chance.

Don't worry abt the ICH as long as it is pecking well and very active plus stress free enviroment then it should make it I am trying to fatten by AT too

No guage means when your CO2 cylinder is going to be empty you won't know. Also when the residual pressure gets too low in the cylinder your regulator will not be able to regulate the pressure and will dump all the CO2 into your CR. End up your CR circulation pump will stop working Therefore a pressure guage is necessary.

Bro.... your AT from the recent shipment one right? My AT with me for more than 2 months and still have one or two dots of ich on it's body. It's very selective of food. Only takes bit sized Nori nothing else. The other time almost got it onto mysis. Will try again soon when my tank settle down. This guy even wack the sohal which is twice it's size until the sohal goes into hiding. You can try cutting the nori into 1mm sq sizes then flood the whole tank with it and see if it'll eat. If only my AT takes pellets then I assure you it will get as fat as my BT and foxface soon Like you said as long as it's swimming actively and pecking on LR (provide your LR has sufficient algae to support it) then it should do well. Same goes for the rest of the tang

I've certain reasons not to go with the aquamedic's range of products. Yes I do agree with the needle wheel uses lesser electricity to run compared to the becketts. However before a purchase is made some detailed studies had been made before a decision is made. Another point I missed out is that aquamart is the distributor for aquamedic products and yes I do agree that they have a shop here and spares can come by immediately. Where as regarding the advise of other shops/supplier not able to provide any immediate spares when you need it is not true. For example Barr Aquatic where Mike young have the spare parts avaliable, Joe_P can fix whatever problem you have with his range of product immediately. Since this issue of me not having common sense & being lazy has been bought up so I shall release more details Now do we still need to probe further?

Fluidized reactor aquamedic do not have any and I was advised to go with their PO4 filter, which works basically like a canister filter. So canister filter is superior to fludized reactor? So the "other advise" is all related to choice of equipments. By not following the advise to get these equipments which is basically aquamedic's range , does it meant I've no common sense or lazy? With your 20 yrs experience you do not know that draining out 50% of the water of the main tank and stopping water circulation plus leaving the SPS exposed to the air will stress the SPS and the fishes?
