  4. Try to clean the glass and shoot directly (not at an angle) at the glass. That should help. Else try to use manual focus.
  5. your kH is too low. Need to dose seachem reef buffer to push it up to ard 8.
  6. If it is not made by ozone safe material then better not risk it Why dun you get a Ozone reactor? Or get someone to DIY it, at least if it breaks down it is much cheaper.
  7. That skimmer like quite impossible to hook up via air intake
  8. I am using the autofeeder with pellet + very finely cut NORI. I also started on pang cai already. Now all my tangs including the AT stomach is always very fat. Let's see how it goes. I am keeping my finger crossed. I am feeding a lot these days.. Alfa with your beckett shouldn't be a problem You should see how much mine is skimming out nowadays. But anytime you see Roidan's AT you *slurp slurp*..... well done man.. not too many pple can keep an AT so fat like yours
  9. see liao really butahan hor? This is my target man *slurp slurp* lol.
  10. Your AT looks like a fat ah pek with that white strip near the chin
  11. Oppss sorry never post in detailed. Those are market prawns... no money to buy so took from my mum's fridge where she had cut into small pcs. The reason why they are there is I put in too many pcs to kick start the cycling and when the water turned too smelly I remove these few pcs at the same time when I add in more LR. These worms are actually from about 50kg of LR.
  12. Someone mentioned worms? Here's some of the worms I removed from my 100kg of LRs. I guess just play safe, good or no good remove them. I still see some worms in my tank after that!
  13. The clams always end up looks better in our tank You can go back to buy tomorrow ah..... I think no regret
  14. Yup the bigger one (right of the photo) is the one with the golden dick lol.... end up butahan must buy mar... both got teardrop pattern one. Guess never regret after put into my tank
  15. This is from EAN, quite a lot left. The ultra are delayed not in this time there
  16. kschew, better just play safe and not add anything Play safe mar. If you cannot stop buying fish then buy for me tank Concentrate more on your exisiting tang... feed them fat fat like what I am doing now They will appreciate your kindness.
  17. An easy way if you want to test if ich is present in your tank is to get some molly.. convert them to salt water then add into your tank for 1 day. After that remove them and put in low salinity water then observe for 1 week to see if they get the white spots. Like what DA has said. AT and those powder xxxx tangs are super prone to ich. The blue tang also very prone to ich but not as bad as the power xxxx tangs. The rest of the tang are not so bad kschew my advise for you is to just forget abt adding any tangs for the next 2-3 months until the ich problem settles down. Just endure for the sake of your existing tangs. I know very difficult but just don't go LFS lor. Let your pocket rest as well
  18. Call EAN and check
  19. Still remember many yrs ago the honda civic who was speeding at 180km/h on a empty ECP at ard 5am in the morning. Turn into tanjong katong rd which is supposed to be empty too but end up one NSF was there and was kissed headon and died on the spot. Think twice before you speed lah. Get caught already then be prepared to face the music. Got guts to do it so have the guts to take the punishment. Later some joke on the empty rd at 2:45am for you never know and wait the worst happen and you shal feel guilty for the rest of your life.
  20. Our bro kanna chiller failed during the night and the lights are not running. Getting a cut off relay for the lights would not save his tank. Maybe the artica or dailea a bit too costly for backup, a resun might be good too. In the case of power trip no issue as you should already have a UPS to run a small powerhead to circulate the water Lesser heat load as well. You could always go for the lower hp ones so they draw lesser electricity
  21. Atman. Hmmm.... remembered someone was comparing the Atman to the Artica and conclusion was it takes 10 yrs to recover the cost of the artica vs running the Atman. Found the thread at http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...pic=15571&st=60 Not trying to add oil onto fire but a reliable brand chiller is very important. Best is to get a backup on standby ready to run but how many of us are doing that? Maybe I should look into a 1/4hp or 1/3hp artica set to 27.5degs on standby just in case. When no accident happen you never regret but when something goes wrong you would wonder why you did not do that.
