From what I know they put a O-ring at the shaft of the handle. Don't really need a good seal because the water flows out from the side. Some of the reefers in RC even made an open top reactor. If the price can be kept ard $150 then it would be great

Can you measure the pH of your tank at different times of the day? Like just before lights on and just before the main lights off and see what's the pH of the tank.

What are you using the measure your pH? If test kit then they are not that accurate in the sense that it is difficult to determine the color. If using a pH meter or pen then make sure it is properly calibrated first.

There might be some chemicals from the FR that caused the skimmer to cease foam production. Just let it run for a few more days. In future remember to clean those new equipments with hot water before introduction.

Definately got effect one whether SKII 神奇水??? or whatever. I am dosing 2ml of zeostart, 500ml of zeovit, 2 drops of zeobak, 2 drops of zeofood on a daily basis. Already can see some SPS starting to color up. One of my green table has turned peach color with blue tips already. Will try to dig some photos. Got my green staghorn that the tips got burn and that could be due to the water getting super clear too quickly. I had shifted my MH lights 1" higher and still monitoring.
