  1. Your other tangs could have developed natural immunity to the ich already. All the best to your AT, any photos?
  2. you forgot abt your chevron which is also super algae eater
  3. Give your NASO sometime, it will grow to love your Cleaner Wrasse.
  4. cos they taste horrible lol. When you plug them out they will release some spores and they will spread to more places. I bought quite a lot of them growing when my tank was ard 2-3months so I just took out the affected LR and give them a good scrub. Now after 10 months+ I don't see them anymore for many months already. Those I cannot take out I use epoxy to cover it. You can try a foxface, they might eat it. When they are small, use epoxy to cover, when they grow too big, more difficult to epoxy them.
  5. bryopsis. reduce PO4, increase skimming. Don't pull them out else they will spread. Or remove the LR and brush it clean outside the tank. Or use epoxy to cover it.
  6. Perform test with newly prepared salt water and see if the test kit are faulty.
  7. Powder blue + Powder Brown + AT = WWIII Better consider carefully.
  8. your bristle star move faster than your fish????
  9. I am not sure of the long term effects of keeping the fish in hyposalinity conditions. I've thought about it but dare not try More over at those salinity you cannot keep any inverts, like cleaner shrimps etc, quite boring tank right? For 8 weeks only you complain of needing to check for pH & salinity. Then if you keep them at low salinity for long term then you'll still need to check for pH and salinity as well. Actually by just keeping the kH ard 10, the pH should remain pretty stable. As for the salinity just make sure the water level don't drop below a certain level will do the trick. Copper is unstable in saltwater so you'll need a copper test kit to monitor the copper concentration, too high you'll kill the fish, too low you won't kill the parasites.
  10. My foxface (new arrival one never post photo before) kanna ich while during quarantine in my tub. I drop the salinity for almost a month. Now I raised the salinity 2 weeks and no sign of ich yet. Once another week no ich I will pass this ich free foxface to another brother here already. Don't be lazy lah.. get rid of those ich once and for all then you'll enjoy keeping & feeding your fishes rather than everyday praying with all those garlic and other funny stuffs.
  11. What did you used to measure your salinity? Please monitor the next 2 days if the ich are gone or not. Maybe what you're seeing is not ich
  12. If you overdose you should be seeing brown slim like stuffs on the glass wall and LRs
  13. Just keep the kH around 10 in your quarantine tank will prevent the pH will crashing. Don't meddle too much by adding all sorts of chemicals Use a powerhead for circulation will do the job. Too much bubbles will stress the fishes also.
  14. Doesn't matter what vocation..... as long as not PES C2, still kanna IPPT after ORD all the way until 40 yrs old, and 50 yrs old for officers Run also run till you drop dead shiong like hell.
  15. Look at your salifin gets aggressive then you just look at the face and pretend that you have a GEM tang.. looks almost the same lar also dot dot dot And somemore so much cheaper.
