UV might help but not a complete cure. If you do get a UV then get the largest you can afford. In the case that you decided not to treat or unable to treat then just leave them alone and feed garlic then pray for the best. It works sometimes and doesn't work sometimes.

There's not much details so I guess your tank now only got sand, water and 3 clownfish only? No LR added so very little bacterial to start with and you dump in 3 clownfish at one go. This will sure give a big ammonia spike. For our saltwater reef which pH is around 8.3 the amount of ammonium is many times higher compared to freshwater aquarium because at higher pH greater than 7 more ammonia gets converted into ammonium (if I still remember my chemistry ) so this is more toxic for the fish. IMO better to remove the fish and add them only after the tank is properly cycled.

If you have no corals in your tank then you can consider using hyposalinity for 6-8 weeks. This will totally get rid of the ich provided you do not add any new fish or LS that might carry the parasite. Your PBT might acquired partial immunity to the ich parasite that is why it appears that myxazin has cured it but in fact low level infection remains and some stress caused a major outbreak this time round.

DB, my acros suffers a lot when converting my AT to eat pellets. The heavy flooding with Amy's food caused most of the acros tissue to darken. Now employing the zeovit system and I need some times to get things back to shape. No good stuffs I rather not post Moreover my staghorn tips get burn when the water suddenly turn super clear 3 days after I started on zeovit system but now stable already. My zoo growth rate is super fast now after the zeovit system, mushrooms also open a lot bigger than before. Skimmer skimming out thicker, more sticky stuffs despite reduced feeding.
