Normally it takes at least 24hrs after any adjustment to take effect on the effluent parameters. When you Tee off from main return pump and I am also assuming that your effluent flow is low judging from your bubble count then you are going to see the effluent flow rate drop and this also requires constant adjustment

Your bubble count would be very inconsistance right now especially when you try to set it to so low count. You probably need to monitor and adjust it a few times a day, quite tedious I would say

Very soon it will leak again or worst the tubing dropped out. I would redo it by inserting the tubing all the way and securing it with metal clamps You're just waiting for a flood if you leave it that way. Good luck.

Very soon you will want a metering valve or a 2 stage regulator with needle valve

soak the ehiem tubing in hot water for 10sec then push it in further, it shouldn't leak if you got the right size. What size of ehiem tubing are you using?

Same experience here. I feel it is not so much of the spectrum but rather the weaker intensity from the 14kk bulbs. My next tank would be probably running with 10k-20k-10k (250-400-250W).

Are you keeping SPS under your 250W 14kk and for how long and how's the results? Any photos?

My AT also not much interest in food in the beginning and I just flood the tank with bite sized NORI. Multiple feedings per day and stable parameters and strong current should keep your AT alive. From the fourth month onwards I managed to switch it over to pellets and only daily feedings when I am in town, other wise no feeding. Now it rush for pellets like the rest of the fishes.
