Saw the whole process of how it was formed and than birthed forth from the egg. Size... abt one finger thick and ard 12-15cm long. Eat mysis, prawn meat, fresh shrimps or fresh freshwater baby long kang fish. R u still keen? Must cautioned u that must have a good filtration to keep sharks or any of this big meat eaters

Small lump/growth on Perc Clown
Nitro replied to Weapon_Master's topic in Disease treatment/parasite/pest control
Hi, my three Perc Clown also got the same illness. Sometime it's the water conditions/perimeters not rite. U are rite to do a partial water change and continue to give treatments. Are there any HC/SC or other fishes that died or is dying? Might help by removing them. -
Hi, know that there are many SH giving birth in this forum so I would like to know if anyone keen on selling or giving adoption of baby SH to interested keepers?
-
Hmmm... looks like not many ppl keep Regal Angel. Anyone else keep this species and have good experiences/advices on keeping this beautiful species for a long long time and know some of the real reasons behind the SDS(sudden death sydrome) of it.

Thanx for the spelling correction

Hi, anyone keep regal angles in their reef tank? Ever had them die-out on you? Mine did... who can advice on this? Rest of my fishes are fine and well. Small Regal... juz bought abt two weeks, was feeding well than it juz died... sad sad! Pls note that all parameters are within specs. Was told that Regals are diffcult to aclimzt to tanks but the smaller ones are slightly easier. How true is this?

Hi fresh water... what's ya thinking of keeping? With live plants and LS or juz LS. LS=livestocks.

Sorry, B.Ocean was refering to the Blue Ocean at LCK, near to CF(if driving). BTW can anyone tell me where is LCK 110? Thanx!
-
Anyone can tell me the excet loc of LCK110? I know where is CF and B.Ocean, isit near to these two place?

How long have this been going on? If it's more than a week or two, advice is to send it to the hospital Let it recover first. Most imp it must eat, all fishes are the same, once they stop eating, their immunity drop and they start dying on you. The small one that I've got int also got broken fins and abit of white patches ard the top fin and two/three spots on the body but after making a 20% water change, it start recovering. Usually a 20% water change does help in the recovering of sick fishes, esp white spots.

Hi scanman, what's the size different between the two? I've got my 2 percular from CF two abt 6mths back. Bought as two seperate fish than try to pair them in my tank, now they are paired up already. The smaller one was half the size of the big one. Int the small one also got bitten and chased around but after two weeks they started to pair up.

maybe I've accidentally injured the acro during transport and aclimazt than now start dying on me... sad story man! Better not to keep them anymore. Dun want to waste the beauties of nature.
-
Used rm AC to bring down temp of the tank... that's abit ex on the utilities bill leh!
-
must say I'm a little bit weird in keeping fishes(both fresh and marine). knowing that one shd read up before starting on these hobby even tell others to do the same but I myself dun do it. Like my freshwater planted tank... ppl got to use CO2 to keep plants healthy but I dun even bother to and juz keep them healthy, even got to trimmed them almost weekly. Even my fishes breed sucessfully.

Sorry ah... it's 27.5deg. How can one keep temp at 21deg without a chiller, trying to bluf rite Started marine abt 6 mths back, was in the freshwater/plant tank for over 10yrs. Wei pro skimmer, a 2ft x 2 ft x 2 1/2ft, 12mm thick.
-
Overflow/sump tank filtration system with bio-ball chamber and skimmer with a small tiny DSB(was told to be useless of the small size) but no harm trying rite. Main tank temp maintain ard at 25.5 to 21.5deg, no chiller used. Simulated dawn/dusk lit up with 2x T5 "Deep Ocean" and 1hr later fellow by 2x T5 "Aqua Blue". What else?
-
hahaha, maybe I'm one... well looks like my tank is not so stable after all. Thanx for the reminder Thots fishes and the rest of the corals are ok (except the octo coral that's dying due to dunno what), so that's why try keeping one acro again since the last one died abt three mths back.
-
AT, thanx ah for the quick reply. I know that they need strong lites, good water conditions and temp but do u know what's the most common prob that can start killing them?
-
Can anyone share their exprience on keeping ACROPORAS? I've tried keeping twice but to no result... they died. first one turn brown than die, now second time it's turning white from base and spreading. Any chance to save it???
-
Well another way is to have a open top cover. The sides are covered but not the top. Usually abt 4 to 5 inches high. This way heat will not be trap in the tank yet at the same time prevent the fishes from jumping out.
-
Hi, is ur skimmer working prop? As in skimming well? If yes, than it shd be well. The bubbles can be cuzed by an oversized pump or too much air supply if using air pump.
-
Hi, u stand to risk without a covered tank with gobies... esp if they are big cuz some tend to be quite playful, chasing up and down and soon u know one fly out
