Somehow all my blastos after awhile turns green centre and red sides.

This one was almost dying, then it was moved to this location of the tank and now growing well.

Lorensia > What do u do to keep it alive and well for a yr+ ? Any more reefers with experience in keeping anemones for over a yr+ or 2?

Hi I'm starting my second marine tank, clowns and anemones only tank with the exception of 1x Humu Humu, 1x Rock beauty from Marshall Isle, 1x Blue tang. Wonder if any reefers here got the experience of keeping anemones successfully in their tank for 2 years and more?

The red shroom I got it from ML and the green one from SL, it's was a loose frag and was pretty normal, like those cheap ones. Then I got it home to groomed it till so nice. UWS- I designed the tank and cabinet myself and got both done direct from the Pro-Glass and a carpenter. Total for main tank, sump tank and cabinet is $700.

no wonder u asked if it needed to have plywood under cuz of bed experience. Ya better be safe than sorry hor. However do take note that for marine set up with sand and big rocks, the thickness of the bottom glass panel do matters cuz it can crack if under too much pressure, esp with water added.

Shroom garden... sad thing is all the Rics that was shown on the past photos are already all gone... including the red one with a white stripe. All either MIA or juz melt away. But now it seems like I'm doing fine with the cheaper shrooms. Maybe can only keep the cheap ones...

Hey can see that u placed two pieces of plywood under the foam. why don't u juz put 1 piece and the other on the bottom rack so at least u can put things like filter or others at the bottom? Ur tank too big for the stand isit? Instead of pushing the tank forward, cuzing it to jut out at the front, why not push it back so at least it jutting out at the back? Juz my 2-cents
