Ah the waratahs... good thing all RIP liao... haha. Really dun know who harm him but it's a good thing it's well now. Guessed that's why there are "Smilies" to use, in a way to express our emotions. As of today, 1 of the Crispa and the H.Malu are still being swept ard by the big Maroon. Tried to placed them in a nice position but no use. Think I'll juz let them be for the time being.

BFG > How come like that??? Good question cuz the tank designer is me lorz Haha now better liao, had tasted bad experience before. Next time if I've got a chance to upgrade to bigger tank, I'll sure put a UPS on the power line that support the whole tank system and also a sump tank that is the same size or if not bigger then the main tank itself.

Rock Beauty still surviving. Almost died a few weeks back. One morning found it like ganna stung by the anemones(not sure if it's by them) and colour faded like seen ghost like that. At first I thought it cannot make it and was going to leave it inside to died and feed it to the anemones but then since it's still breathing, I decided to put it in my main 2 footer sump tank for a try. It survived and recovered, now doing very very well in that sump tank with 2 blood shrimps. The shrimps are there for breeding so the broods will contribute as food source to the main tank Exiled > I guessed Southpaw23 also meant well when he highlighted those points. Don't be so what lah... haha. Friendly friendly ok? But ya my lights are abit not enough so I'll do pay extra attention on the anemones conditions. Southpaw23 > I really think the Blue Tang won't grow bigger liao cuz it might have been stunded on it's growth when I kept it in a much smaller tank before the upgrade Developed feelings already, so can't bear to give it away

Hey Colin, did u try to test out shd there be a power failure, will the sump tank overflow? I've ganna before with my old sump, the sizing wasn't rite, power failure and whole living room flooded. Some more only knew it after a long day at work. Didn't bothered to mop, simply juz use fresh water to flush it out to the corridor, then mopped. Hard work ah!

southpaw23 / exiled > Thanx for the concerns and advice, I'll take note of them. Yes I agreed the lighting might no be sufficient and I'm monitoring it. As the tank depth is only 1.5ft, that's why I'm using the ZooMed's tube although it's only 18w each. 1x Daylight and 1x Actinic. Rest assured that if any of the healthy and bleached anemones show signs of not getting healthier or bleached even more, I'll do something abt the lightings. Although as what I've mentioned before that I'm trying to keep this tank at low cost(as little expnsive equipments as possible) but I'll upkeep it at the expense of good husbandry with regular water change, daily monitoring of water conditions and LS and also supplements dosing. Temp of the tank is kept cool by a fan, reason being that tank is situated in a cool corner of the living room. So u can see I'm trying to make use of the environment / surroundings too. Anyway this tank belongs to my daughters cuz the paired Maroons are theirs when I give it to them at 1 and 3 yrs old, now they're 2 and 4yrs, they insist on keeping them so I did a tank upgrade for them lorz

Ah Fat > Thanx for the compliments. Guessed regular water change does help alot and also the small, yet "powderful" Tunze 9002. What's the lite's brand that you suggested and where can I view it? The 2x 18w tubes, I using the ZooMed's tube, expensive manz! More ex than my 2ft T5s ATI/D&D. Hey, how's the cannister filter working performance so far? Any complains?

Using 2x 18w tube (think it's T8, the thicker tube type). Did thought of switching to 4x T5s but since this light set was lying ard my house, so juz used it first lor. Ya when I bought them, all were already bleached slightly, think it's due to stressed from all the handelling from being caught to being sold and finally to being placed in my tank Some are starting to colour up abit, esp the ones that are anchored under the rocks. The two crispa, I'm still trying very hard to recover them back to health. Using fan now instead of chiller but u r rite, almost got to top up water everyday and monitor the SG. Reason using this config is bcuz I'm trying to set up another tank and using minimum equipments and adopting a old school of thought method, CHANGE WATER REGULARLY. If successful in keep all clowns and anemones in this tank healthy and multiply, than I've already achieved my goal

The new anemone is from Coral Farm. Have not seen any brown crispa here in SG yet. Yesterday was my first feeding of prawns meat to the Clown & Anemones tank. Wow, all of them like it... even the Haliofungias love it. But I must be careful not to overfeed prawns meat cuz water does get dirty very fast.

haha, not angry with u lah... Ya feed market prawns too but mine... always snatched by the tangs before the pratas can put it into their mouth.

U dun really have to chg 10% of the tank water, it's juz a guide line rite Mine is a 2 footer too and I only chg abt 2 pail of water once every 1 or 2 weeks. Total amt of 2 pails is abt 15 to 20 litres.

Think u can find the location of GO from the "Sponsor" thread. Near to the junction of Bartley and Serangoon Rd, from Potong Pasir walk towards Hougang that direction, abt 5 to 10 mins slow walk.

Exiled > both crispa still surviving but are positioned in such a way that make photo taking difficult. Will try to post once I got an update. This week, juz did a partial water change again, so far all doing good. Except for one anemone that looks like melt away but not really cuz it still puffs up and now thinking back... it might be splitting but I've throw it away as I'm really not sure if it's splitting or melting away.
