  6. Was the DBS/POSB latest incident a case of "ATM cards being cloned" or more suspect-able of "an inside job"? Seem like there are lapse of security protocol in areas such as 3rd party access of the ATMs machine during servicing and maintenance etc? I've personally witnessed many time where DBS/POSB full-time stuffs are not in presence when the 3rd party contractors are servicing or carrying out maintenance on the ATMs with the auxiliary police. I'm sure accts info and data can be easily collected during such time and referring to the latest incident... One can't help it but to wonder that if this can happened and the data are being sold or passed onto the perpetrator (for this case in Malaysia).
  7. After 2 months, I can still spot clown fries swimming ard the rocks in the main tank. Hopefully will grow abit more and also to capture some photos of them in the tank to proved my success story ;-)

    Sump Proposal

Add a row of sleeves (sitting on top) of the last pcs of partition to prevent any loss cheato from flowing into the return pump area. Alternatively have another compartment to slot in the coarse filter sponge to do the job. Just before the return pump area.
  9. Ah... thanks for highlighting. Hmmm the Creator in His rush to meet tgt, must have forgotten to paint the tail yellow
  10. Pardon me... it's juz a purple tang. Why the big "hoo-ha"? I dun see anything special for this pcs unless I'm missing out something here???
  11. Harlo there, go to ArtFriends and buy the mid size mirror acrylic and place it temp at one position of the tank. It'll help and gives both fish a breather as they'll start focusing on the "'new comers".
  12. Go google abit on this HiH disease on marine/freshwater fishes and you'll get more accurate info then juz me telling you BTW, pls check your water conditions/parameters and may I ask what type of fish food and brands are you feeding to them?
  13. Initial assessment seems to indicate that it might prob be holes-in-head disease. Common in angelfishes, just like the freshwater angelfish and discus too. These fishes are prone to HiH disease.
  14. Amused > May I sugg to you to install ball valves in the pipe lines. These valves will come handy for any changes in the future as they allow you to shut off the flow without affecting other parts of the pipe line.
  15. Can't find one like this anymore after it had been eaten by a bigger warty. Been 5 yrs plus and still hunting for one similar!
  16. Well maybe this can be consider unique too for a frog fish? Black base, gold spots with blue finage.
  17. Hmmm... I doubt some of the photos of the very colorful fishes posted. Some do looks like photo-shopped. No offense ya to those who contributed the photos whether original or copied from else where. I hoped all photos are as original as possible so at least reefers here are really looking at what are real and do have the chance to purchase if any.
  18. Dun think that will be possible in a hme tank... anyway
  19. Photography experts out there... are these 2 pic consider good? Taken with iPhone4 though.
  20. Apologies Uncle Jon, Posting a pic of my Black Tang here... to help u stir up some keen interest in ur sales ah
  21. High flow area is where Chaeto will thrived.
  22. Nah, 10" is way too huge for my small tank
  23. Guessed u r new to Marine hobby my friend... it's all abt "Demand & Supply" and also "Willing Seller, Willing Buyer". Anyway Black Tang, Gem Tang and some other fishes such as Clarion Angelfish, Peppermint Angelfish are like the "Arowana" of Marine hobby. In the Freshwater hobby, ppl pay thousands for an Arowana or even a Diamond Ray ete.
  24. Try picking up from ECP beach. Always see all the little shoots lying on the beach after the wave washed them in. Anyway there is no mangroves growing along that beach and the shoots are usually dried up by mid day if the wave dun come in at that time. Another place is Pasir Ris Park beach but maybe better not take from there as there are mangroves in that area and taking away the shoots there might disrupt the mangroves growth.
