Underwater > U meant the sponge in this pic... The sponge is attached to the same rock as the small green Favia family coral. It was bought from SeaLife almost half to 1 yr liao. Thot either one was going to up the lorry anytime when I saw it at the LFS and since it was sold at a low price, I bought it. The 3 long pieces of the sponge u see at the fore ground is grown out of the main piece at the back. It placed under the shaded area and moderate current flow. Think it's this condition that keep it and the green favia growing. Hoping to grow it bigger.

Haha another powerful tank and setup

Yo, u need to have "good stuffs" in the sand for the sand gobies to feed on cuz that's how they feed unless trained to pellets or other food. When they sift the sand, they're basically feeding on micro-organisim. That's what I observed for the gobies in my tank. But once the sand are quite free of all this stuff, they'll slowly starve to death. Unless they start eating pellets etc.

What photoware are u using? If u're using PICASA2, u can resize the photos before posting. I uses PICASA2, it's free for download from the net. A simple and easy to use software if u r not doing serious photo editing.

All four tangs are bought from the same LFS and intro into this 2x2x2.5 footer at the same time. From time to time, the bigger YT will chase the smaller YT but can see it's only for fun and no serious injuries.

The very bleached anemone at the bottom was bleached even more after upgrade of lighting. The top one is new and it's color is kind of black base and tenticles.

The two cleaners who keep all fishes clean and healthy, plus provide live food for fishes and corals once in awhile

haha the small white tube in the middle of the coral. It got a red hairy head, hidding when this pic was taken.

The most impt equipment in the tank so far... Working hard and good for a small guy like this.

Not sure if u reefers noticed... take a close look at this four corals... Cynarinas look like the giant version of Blastomussa while Pratas look like the giant version of Acans. Hmmm maybe that's why Pratas are named as "Acanthophyllia deshayesiana".

Can chk out this site, it has quite a good write-up and clear photos of different type of Cynarinas and Scolymais... what we so called "Pratas and Cat-eyes". http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/nov2003/invert.htm Guessed it explained why sometimes ppl gives different ID to a same coral. There are juz so many new corals and fishes out in the great ocean that even scientists are still finding out every new day

My beautiful Haliofungais... very sadly the third one which was my fav RIP juz last week... can't find out the reason.

strange thing is after upgrading to 4x T-5s, the anemones starts to bleached even more... esp those under the rocks. The red based anemone is new from SeaLife. Tenticles are slightly bleached. The third one above it is also new from SL. It's kind of black in colour.
