Part 2 of my decomming sale! For those who missed out the first thread, im decomming my sps tank mainly due to having the lack of time to maintain due to NS. water condtion hasn't been the best lately and color are deproving. im showing images of what the frags/colony used to look like and what its like now. showing u the potential they have. First up, 1) Purple Bonsai frags and colony This is how my purple bonsai colony used to look like now : color have dropped significantly unfortunately but the purple are coming back. its growing very well too. Size of this colony is about 3.5" wide and 3-3.5" tall. a big round colony. With good water condition, this hardy acro will definitely return to its former glory. Letting go at $80 2) This is a flat big frag of the purple bonsai. broken from a encrusting piece and continues to encrust on a small rock before its starting to grow new tips, the new tips are all quite purple.. size of this big frag is 2"x1" $30 3) Small frag also broken from a encrusting portion. already fully encrusted on plug $10 4) fully encrusted and growing purple bonsai frag $20 5) Another fully encrusted purple bonsai frag with dual 1.5" branch. $20 6) Acropora Desalwi (aussie) lost all the color already. about 2x1" big $15 7) Unique purpleish green tabling acro what it used to look like This piece grew from a 1" frag, the new tips are slight purpleish.. currently not tabling.. about 2.5 x 1.5" colony. going for $30 8) True Optic Fibre pocci small colony about 2x1" big $30 9) Blood red milie blood red body with blue polyps used to look like this Now : $20 10) blood red stag now turn green. 1" frag $15 11) 1" strawberry field frag $10 12) Large bali green slimer with good Pe its about 7" wide (from one end of the stick to the other end on the right) and about 6-7" tall. multi branches and the whole colony is quite big. $50 13) a mini colony of radioactive birdnest 1.5"x1" big polyps are closed due to moving it during photo taking $20 14) blue tenuis, used to be whole body blue 1.5x1.5" big $20 15) 1.5x1.5" big electric blue tenius with green body. blue used to be really deep and now its still quite bright. $25 There are a few enquires about purchasing all my frags/colony in the previous thread. to make things simple for me. take all the above i listed together for just $340 (instead of $395) and i'll foc some brown frags of SPS and super limi GSP frag. Of course for those are purchasing more at one go gets more discount and reservation will be made. i can only deal on weekends! All photos are also not photoshopped and are purely out of camera. Its been sometime since i last updated! Thing hasn't been going too well as green hair algae continues to thrive on my rocks! only recently i started using Fauna Marin Ultra phos instead of Rowaphos then things starts to get better! As im only usually home 2 days a week, tank is mostly maintained by my dad.. i still continues to do 10% WC weekly. Growth is good but color is not there yet.. nowhere near my old set up. this large coloy of sky blue stag has lost most of its color couple weeks back, color started coming back from the tip onwards.. Hopefully in the near future it can color up back to its former glory! Its been growing really well though! purple bonsai bali slimer radioactive birdsnest interestingly this unique smooth skin tabling acro is not tabling in this tank and one of my blue eye anthias turned male! Sadly it killed 2 other blue eye anthias.. leaving the last female alone.. FTS Thats all for now!

Missed out some stuff, Extremely happy with my Curve 7! As i will be away most of the time from now on, i decided to make things easier for my dad who will be helping me dose my zeovit and Fauna marin Color elements, zeovit has been labeled and are easy to dose (2 drops each time).. FM CE will be more troublesome as im dosing 3ml and 2ml of ultra organics. To make things easier for my dad, i found these cute little containers in Daiso. The wine shape container holds 3ml and the fish shape one holds 2ml. When packed like this, my dad can simply take the containers out and squeeze into the tank. I don't have to worry about him forgetting which is which and risks of overdosing.

Here's an update before im going for 'holiday' on a famous island in singapore tomorrow! I was looking at some photos when i first started this tank and first started filling it up with SPS and its about 2 months since all these happened.. Due to this being a new tank (started stocking/bringing back SPS less when tank's less then 1 month old) and i was battling high phosphate (probably leaking from those rocks), most of my SPS turned brown or wasn't as brightly colored.. Finally im seeing some difference after removing AIO Biopellets and going back to what i used to and had great success, which are vinegar dosing and Rowaphos. My current Parameters: kH 7.6-8.2 Ca 400-410 Mg 1700 (Yes 1700! Maintaining at this level to reduce algae growth and encourage coraline, slowly reducing now by doing WC weekly) Potassium 390-400 No3 : 0ppm Po4 : 0.02-0.1 (my hanna checker gives a varied result) Im also back on Red sea Salt (Normal) instead of Skimz, im seeing more PE after the switch (using red sea for 10% WC Weekly). Not sure if it is due to the salt though... Now here's some before and after photos of some SPS showing a 2 month time gap. Bali Green slimer, fresh from a culturing farm Now, Grown quite alot! Purple bonsai I lost the purple totally for about a month and im seeing that the purple are coming back I cant wait for it to return to it's former glory... Radioactive birdnest amazing growth in just 2 months Blue tenius, i wasn't prepared to buy a big colony back then and saw a small frag accidentally fragged off, bought that instead. It has turned out to be a true beauty! regretting not getting the colony.. A pink based birdsnest with greenish polyps.. Strange enough, it looks totally different now SSC and blue tip green stag.. SSC lost its color but its slowly regaining back, seems to be branching out! blue tip green stag is growing pretty fast too.. encrusting and branching at the same time The rest shows the update of my SPS now.. Sun set monti True optic Fibre Aussie spathulata Red planet Purple bonsai, yes its the same as the one above! the colony was encrusting very well on a piece of rock before i decommed the old tank, i had to seperate colony from the base and found it a pity to throw the base away.. So i fragged it up and this the main piece! Its starting to branch out too! red stag, base is turning green My fav sps, a unique SSC.. How is that white sps even alive? The coralite indicated it was never deep sea.. Seriously how can any lfs think they can even sell that sps? And that rainbow nasuta is white too.. Both are as good as dead.. Having to pay 488 for that so call white ssc is as good as just throwing away.. Does that lfs not have any ethics at all?

Yet another update... SSC totally browned out.. hoping to see it turn back to its former glory (my avartar's pic) in the future! This however, has been turning into a beauty I got myself this super cool looking sky blue staghorn.. its huge! Top view showing most sps in my tank Totally brightens up my entire tank! i'm only hoping i can hold the sky blue color now!

Scape's looking good, u might wanna take note if there's too many rocks touching the sand bed if you plan to have one.

Clearing some stuff 1) Aussie Duncan - i counted 15 heads with 3-5 baby heads. - Have been with me for a loooong time - i feed it frozen mysis 2 times a week - Looks small when closed up but swells to bigger then my fist ( i have big fists) the brain u see there is around 2" big, so thats for scale nice green too Letting go at $100. 2) Aussie Mushrooms.... Just kidding! they are normal green/blue/turquoise mushrooms!] on a nice fully coraline encrusted rocks.
