Some updates!!! for the past 1-2 weeks have been working hard trying to bring down nutrients, meanwhile SPS are looking great! Except for a few of them having burnt tips (all were from a single owner though), my kh was stable. Nutrients measured are: kH: 7.3-7.6 (salifert) ca: 380 (Salifert) Mg: 1300 (Salifert) po4: 0.12 (using Hanna ULR checker, down from 0.55 from 2 weeks ago) K: 350( salifert) Nitrate: 5ppm (salifert) I am running around 300ml of AIO bio pellets with the out put directed at the input of my Skimz SM121 skimmer.. also tuned to produce wet skim, i noticed after using AIO, my skimmate was much more dirtier, smellier and darker in color. Here's some pictures of my current SPS, pretty difficult to take top down shots after changing to T5.. This is supposed to be a blue luminous sps from a friend.. turned brown for now Bought when itwas still yellow, turning greenish probably due to my high nutrients Ice fire frag and pac man frag\ Left badabing, right red stag desert millie? red milie Watermelon millie, color holding well red millie turned green SSC turned brown frag.. gaining back its green in my tank Zoas corner, and a newly bought red-dragon look a like colony FTS A good friend of mine came over to my place with his apogee meter and helped me measured my PAR levels in the tank. im really surprised im getting ~300 PAR on both side of the corner sandbed. middle rock scape area gets a good range of 450-800 PAR. the shaded area under my floating rock scape was getting 33 par. However, right now im only turning on 4 tubes (3CP, 1 BP) for 10 hours and all 6 tubes will only be on 2 hours a day. with only 4 tubes, an average drop of 200 PAR is observed. this shows how strong 2 blue plus tubes are.. My sump. currently dosing 3 parts, dosing Microbelift special blend bacteria and nothing else. Thanks for viewing!

Hi guys! finally im updating my thread! its been sometime and im coming backing to SPS! sold away most of my LPS, still keeping some zoas, lps and anemones. but this tank's gonna be mainly SPS! my new toy, when i first joined the marine scene, i got myself a maxspect razor. i was able to get awesome sps coloration with this but as time goes by, i got really sick of the shimmer! i wanted a pure T5 fixture. and a good want. so i got myself an ATI 6x39w non-dimm Upon opening, im glad i got myself a brand new set.. those reflectors are damn reflective! Current combination is 3CP, 3BP.. So, due to having false ceiling for most part of my ceiling, had no choice but to drill the wall. special thanks to my dad who helped me do most of the work! lights on damn this fixture is bright! i could literally grow SPS on anywhere! im finding the 3 CP, 3 BP combo abit too blue. i on 4 tubes only for now (3CP, 1 BP) and i find this just nice! Current FTS, i do have a couple of frags right now. running AIO and rowaphos trying to bring down Po4 to suitable level before going for more colonies/frags. Thanks for viewing!

As some of you may know from my build thread, im selling off all my LPS and some softies and going back to SPS! I wanna note that the picture below are all taken in 15K razor 180W on 100% for both channel, they are fresh out from camera and went through no photoshopping or enhancing of the pictures color. First up are my hammers. 1) purple tip green body hammer. 4-6 heads. about 6-7" after opening up. quite a big piece. $65 2) green tip purple body hammer 5-7 heads. about 7-8" after opening up. $65 3) Luminous teal color hammer. 4 small heads. $35 Lobo's next 4) Bright orange Lobo coral. around 4-5" across. fit my big palms nicely. its a very nice round piece that is bright orange in color. rare color! $80 5) Red Lobo around 4-5" across when inflated. also fit my big plams nicely. nice fat piece that is bright red even on the sand bed. green centre! $70 6) Lumi green candy cane. ~12 heads. pretty rare to find this nowadays.. fat and fleshy too! $40 6) Aussie golden torch. not very gold anymore.its a single big head. $25 7) purple tip elegance. 4-5" across. this species will not expand too big and lose it's color. this is about as big as it can get. $45 8) large colony of golden cloves. its about 5-6" long. with tons of wavey polyps! there's also a teal and white color mushroom on the rock. here's it after opening alittle.. i'll either post a pic again when it opens fully or look at the first few picture can see it open fully. $60 9) aussie duncan. 12-15 adult + baby heads. it's coloration isn't good since its shaded. plus one side of it had some died off due to being stung by my hammer many months ago. give it TLC and it can grow to abeautiful big colony Due to the coloration and the previous die-off (its very healthy right now) letting it go cheap at $50 10) Aussie duncan. about 5-8 adult + baby heads. Great coloration and growing really fast. $60 11) Red acans L. flesh retracted due to me bringing it up for photo taking. strong coloration. $45 12) Red acans M $30 13) red acans S $20 These are all of them in my 3x1.5x1.5ft tank. Do note that the rainbow brain is already reserved. All the above LPS took me time to hunt them down and i feed them mysis 2-3 times a week. Probably the reason why all are fat and colorful. you wont be dissappointed! For big corals like the hammers, please bring your own container! as im selling quite alot of them here, buy more i will give discount for sure and i will reserve for you so that i can clear it in a easier manner..
