i took ammonia and nitrite reading yesterday and it was 0.25 and 0 respectively. Took some readings today : API : pH : 8.2 Ammonia : 0 Nitrite : 0 Salifert : Nitrate: 0.2 (using the low range reading method) Phosphate: 0 kH: 9.6 SG : 1.025 currently running 100ml of rowaphos in TLF phosban 150, gonna get another TLF and join them together running biopellets after i add in livestocks. seems like my cycle is done? probably because im using my old LR and also cured LR from reefer. i went GO once since im making my new tank at atlantic which was beside GO. i was so surprised at the price of their GSP i simply just went out of the shop without looking at any thing else. indeed they have nice corals but the price..

Thanks a lot for ur advice regarding flow bro. I appreciate it alot. I understand what you meant and the single wp40 is probably overkill but I might add another smaller wave maker to push towards the rocks at the back to ensure no dead spots. Still finding the sweet spot to place the wake makers now.. Previously both overflow box and wave maker on the same side cause haven settle the plugs so all put one wide first. Thanks bro. I can't wait too!

Updates : up and running for 2 days already. transferred all live rocks, corals and fishes to this current set up. Since its using cured live rock so should be fine.. so far fishes are eating and corals are opening just as usual.. Been dosing Microbe-lift Niteout-2 daily to provide bacterial.. Deltec MCE 600 producing some awesome loads of bubbles but only clear skimmate now probably due to the low bioload! loving the Carib-sea Special Grade reef sand! perfect grain size. top view.. can easily view corals just have to press the feed button on my wp40. shifted my sump and overflow box to the right as its generating too much noise to the corridor.

i put them in a very fine bag i bought from Clementi 328.. first day will have some particles flying but will be fine after that.. i do rinse them with DI water before using..

ive run this light set on another tank for a few months.. definitely got saltwater spray on it before.. seems fine leh.

i used to run a bag of rowaphos in a 1000l/hr Hang on filter for my 34L tank.. must ensure good flow and need to turn the back once in a while.

Just decomm-ed my nano tank. Some stuff to sell! 1) 1ft cube (5mm) with black silicon. Back glass got black oyama pasted. some mini scratches here and there.. nothing major.. $10 2) 31x31x36cm (5mm) front curve clear silicon. Bought from seaview. front glass got a little bit scratches but not obvious. $15 3) Dolphin h-800 Hang-on filter. 1000l/hr with BIG media space behind.. its around 28 - 29cm long so it fits a 1ft cube nicely. FOC surface skimmer mod. all stuff like filter cartridge all included $15 4) Dymax IQ skimmer. used sanders 2 wood inside. i use this skimmer inside the h-800. get Tea color skimmate. $10 5) Dymax vortex w-8 fan The bigger version of the 2. if you are using generic 3 strage filtration system or crystal pro 3 stage, go visit madpetz and get their refillable cartridge and DI resin. should be cheaper than what you are paying for right now.. your area TDS is really high..

can try placing your ear on ur tank glass and hear the sound the impeller makes.. ELSE mode seems like its random flow.

been using the wp40 for 2 days, really strong waves for my 120x60x36cm tank. Currently running on ELSE mode.
