old tubes will have a shift in spectrum which encourages algae growth if im not wrong. vodka dosing will have cyano problem too.

Hey guys, just upgraded my light so selling of the above light set. specs : g2 170w LED (22 (455nm royal Blue LED), 26 ( Cool White LED), 8 (410-420nm True Violet LED)) - 3 channel (RB/CW+TV/CW) to twitch around to suit your coral's needs Comes with : LED fixture itself Hanging kit Fixture Brackets Controller unit ( this controller unit is only around 5 - 6 weeks old so its still very new) Extra spare fan (abit noisy) one spare violet LED Note : this fixtures have 4 tiny moonlights but 1 of them is not working anymore. the other 3 moonlight still can illuminate my 4ft with a dim blue light with no issue. with my sun coral, i feed it roughly the same time once every 2 - 3 days, so it knows when to open... Usually after 8pm it will start to open.. but recently afternoon also open liao as for my black/yellow sun, seems like will be hard to train it to open all day long. Anyway guys, do you think this is a super sun? my friend had no idea what coral is this and never fed it at all when he had it. he mentioned that it never opens. its been with me for a week already, last night finally manage to see it open slightly.. have been feeding in a tub but it refuses to open.. hopefully i will be able to save it. http://s961.photobucket.com/user/fissiden/media/20130603_013029_zpsf85146c8.jpg.html'>

for the ABC+M package, madpetz & Marinelife do carry them. i got mine from ML @ almost 2 blue notes. think only left 2 set as of 2 days ago.
