Im not sure if anyone saw this but at MACNA 2013, the razor 200 prototype was released together with the maxspect celestial multi chip LED. Both looks awesome and some modification was done to the razor too.. Here's some photo taken from reefbuilder Maxspect Celestial

Right now IMO the best to the least best fixture for SPS if $$ not an issue : GHL Mitras Maxspect Razor Kessil Pacific Sun Orphek Evergrow/ReefBreeders Aqua illumination (only the Hydra and Hydra 52) Radion (only the Pro) All the above can grow SPS or color up them well but you have to factor in other issue to determine the best. If $$ is an issue, the best bang for the buck LEDs will be : Maxspect Razor Evergrow/Reefbreeders The Kessil or the new Maxspect Celestial uses single source multi-chip leds instead of the cluster led we usually see. I believe this should be a game changer espcially the maxspect celestial is cheaper then the kessil and yet programmable.

i've never seen any tank with such low parameters, my guess is that either your kits are spoilt or you didnt do it properly.

Just changed my sump lighting to a PL light set so letting this go. Used for 2 - 3 months only. each day only on for 1 - 2 hours max since its mainly used for me to view my sump. i made my tank from Atlantic glass industry (beside Golden octopus). Workmanship is not bad and i know a few fellas who custom make their tank + cabinet from them.. its one of the cheapest around ( my tank cost almost half the price as compared to other popular tank makers) so if you are on a tight budget and don't mind "not too bad" workmanship can consider it.. and they are very punctual when it comes to delivery and set up too!

looking at the price now of wp25 and 40, 10 should be in the range of around $50.. for a controllable wavemaker that is very cheap!

i need to dose 30ML of kh & ca daily (using randy's 2 part formula) to maintain my ca/kh.. i just bought my dosing pump.. will save me alot of hassle and much more stable parameters!

i use wp25 for my 4x2x1.2ft set on w1 at 100%. i do have 2 other wavemaker to supplement but the wave its creating is awesome! definitely overkill for a 1.5ft cube.. dont worry i think jebao is making a wp-10..
