200 probably just reefbreeders photon 24. Should be about 200 or slightly above. But you dun get local support. Warranty have to either send back to usa or get them send parts to u and u fix it urself. -

For 2ft cube youll likely need 3-4 par38s and those which are much higher power than that. I suggest a 120w 16k razor or a single kessil a360we. For a good reliable led fixture get ready to spend at least 400 and above. -
as above, how do you guys train them or what do you use to entice them to feed on frozen food? thanks

Brand new par38 for sale. Basic Info : 12 x 3w Bridgelux LED. aluminium heat sink plastic housing easy to remove (to change/remove lenses) Basically the least hot par38 i ever used, on 12 hours straight and its only slightly hot when touched (other standard metal par38 design is pretty hot to touch) 90 degree removable lenses. LED : 2 x Warm White (3000k) - cover the red/green/yellow spectrum, with this you get MUCH better color blending and yet get enough reds. 2 x Cool White (8000k) - basically for asthetic purpose to balance out the warm white. 2 x Violet ( 410 - 420nm) - violets are what is lack from a few fixture even up till today, they are important spectrums for all corals. 6 x Royal Blue (455 - 460nm) with this combi, you're basically getting a 16-18k look crisp white with blue hue look. coverage of a single par38 hanging about 15" above water level over a 48x24x14" tank. remove the lenses and you get a even wider spread. Light comes equipped with 90 degree lenses, but they are removable as well as interchangeable by removing the plastic lid. Do note that the unit im selling is BRAND NEW, this unit i took apart is my own personal unit cause im using without lenses. Selling this unit for $75. comes with 1 week warranty from the day you purchase. holder for this bulb can be found at electrical stores or using Dymax Astro light holder will work. i believe camera stores and IKEA have them too. Collection/Testing can be done at woodlands dr 72. If you do not need to test (guaranteed working) or view, i can deal at pasir ris farm on weekends afternoon. SMS/Whatsapp me at 9106-3934.. thanks!

Please Suggest LED Lighting for 4x2x2
Evolutionz replied to Shamsul's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
Probably best would be hydra.. personally wont consider any other ai. -
They are not advisable to keep due to their unique diet of only copepods. Some reefers managed to train them to eat frozen food. I would say at least a 3footer is required for one mandarin so as to have enough pods among the rocks.

Yup reliability is very important! Personally my maxspect had some problems before and delightings were quick to fix. As for radions, had a few friends waited for weeks and months just to had their radion fans changed. -

Got money go for hydra52. More budget and want something that give the same/similar result razor 300w. Your corals dun benefits from any of those specisl effects but you may find them cool. Boils down to ur needs. U can also consider 2x kessil a360WE. -

Probably only the ai hydra or hydra52 is comparable to the razor. You get better control for the the hydra too. Razor only has 2 channels and sunrise sunset effect. No fancy cloudy or storm effect. As for price a single 300w should be slightly cheaper then 2 ai hydra and quite a bit cheaper den 2 ai hydra52 -
Alright thanks guys!!!

What for go for old model. A razor 160w 16k enough to keep just lps and sps. If full sps tank the 300w would be awesome -
hey fellas, need some help here! im thinking if it is possible to get a T-joint so i can use my return pump to feed my chiller so i can save one pump's bill. i use a eheim 1260 with a flow restricting valve, as i use only about 1/2 of eheim 1260's power, i might as well utilized it further by running it for my chiller. http://s966.photobucket.com/user/kalthuslee/media/20140302_222425_zpsd0c5fbe7.jpg.html'> http://s966.photobucket.com/user/kalthuslee/media/20140302_223020_zpsa97a9755.jpg.html'> sorry for the poor pic but you can see the green pipe with the valve, the pipe size is 25/34, i believe my chiller's pipe size should be 16/22 or 19/27. is there such a t joint pipe that will allow me to branch out a smaller pipe size? was wondering if madpetz have the parts? thanks.
