  5. Simple update.. i have been hunting nice colorful zoas high and low and honestly, been stocking up pretty fast.. luckily my tank is fishless and i do 5% WC every 2 - 3 days and my tanks and corals are coping very well.. Today i bought more zoas and found out that i indeed am running out of space.. so i made a frag station out of egg crates and suction cups.. i use Superglue to glue the suction cup to the eggcrates. Since the back portion of my tank is empty so i decided to put my frag station there... As you can see from this photo, bought some frag plugs and shifted some of my small frags of zoas on to the station.. only worry will be fishes will have less swimming space and the lighting may be too intense for the zoas. Next to share my newly acquired zoas.. Radioactive green. orange green zoa. Next, the rest of my zoas collection.. my 2 fav are on the left.. Mohawk and the green zoas.. this mohawk glows purple skirts with bright orange center under blue light.. its a pity my camera cant capture it well My GSP.. planning to glue it to my surface skimmer and let it spread over it. Some sort of gonipora? opening well and seems to grow pretty fast Hammer coral.. noticed this fella likes to extend its tentacle and try to reach out for my rics and zoas.. my hardworking astera snails. Now for the FTS.. noticed the frag station at the back.. pure blue light. Still waiting for my E27 socket adapter to arrive so i can change the light set!
  6. all sold. mod please close thread thanks!

  9. Not sure what is this but it sure is stunning! Got frag boh! Hahhahaa
  10. Hey guys, wanna clear some extra frags to make way for new frags.. 1) Orange centre with brown skirts zoa x 2. Under white light its orange, under blue light it turns red. 1 has 20 poylps while the other have around 25. Don't worry, zoa's healthy.. closed because i shifted them to the front for photo taking. blue light.. my note 2 cant capture the light well.. pic of the whole colony before i fragged it. Selling both frags at only $15! total about 50 polyps! 2) Green and red zoa mixed. mixed zoa with green and red centre. intense color when blue light is on. pic with white light blue light $10 for this frag of 10 - 15 polyps. 3) Blue star dust Zoa. Cyan Blue color even when its on white light.. blue light looks the same. Very large polyp as well.. this whole colony is around 50 polyps. i plan to frag half to sell as i find it abit too big for my tank and it has no space to grow anymore. Let me know if you are interested in a frag of around 25 polyps for $20. Price are slightly nego if you buy more, im also interested in trading zoas (eagle eye, sunflower etc etc) so if you have colorful zoas for trade. can SMS me as well to discuss.. top up on either side can be arranged. SMS me at 9106-3934. Collection/view woodlands area

  14. bro noticed ur light quite close to your water. and your tank's only 30cm height.. wont the 10W light burn your corals?
  15. does sim lim tower sell heatsink? thinking of getting 10 royal blue (460nm) and 5 white 1W LED and solder them to a long heat sink and DIY my own LED.
  16. Hey guys, im thinking of adding a yasha goby + pistol shrimp pair but my sand bed is only around 1.5cm thick.. is this enough for them?
  17. I just got myself a 7x3watt Par38-alike light set for my 34L.. right now im thinking of getting 2 set of 5x1watt with 120 degree lenses.. if i use 3 watt LEDs and its so close to the water with such a shallow depth.. all my corals will burn liao.
  18. maybe you can post detailed information and pictures of all the equipment you are using? based on my very limited knowledge.. skimmer might be the one churning out micro bubbles.
  19. thanks for your info bro. seems like i go to look for other alternative.
  20. the LED light set looks really neat! dosn't look DIY at all. beautiful tank too
  21. woah very neat! why not just buy NSW from farm?
  22. very neat set up! you sure got determination if you are planning to keep those plug holes empty for a year
  23. i read that dipping in freshwater will not cure brook but only slow it's infection rate.. and dipping a weak fish in freshwater can really stress it really badly. i removed it into another 8L tank with 50% tank water, 50% newly mixed water (same pH and SG as tank water) and dose the correct dosage of interpet no.7. after half a day, i noticed my clown's coloration improved (previously was getting more and more pale) and it's slime seems to be reducing.. Of course it is bad for the fish to be transferred out but i guess thats the best i can do for it now.
