  1. indeed... bad choice to put fish in right from the start.. poor fishes too, i hope they survive til your cycling completes..
  2. i have 2 asterae snails in my 34L tank and its been cleaning up brown algae in my tank very well.. one even got to the extend of climbing on to the output flow of my hang on filter and eat all the brown algae there within 2 days.. at first i was still worried why it decided to climb so high up..
  3. Hey fellas. i have a boxer shrimp for trade or sale.. feeds on pellets and he is very greedy.. body size is around 2 inches long with long long feelers.. kept for about 2 weeks.. molted once last week.. Im looking to sell at $8 or trade with either : 1) a frag of zoas. 2) Sexy shrimps. SMS me at 9106-3934. Thanks!
  4. Hey fellas, im looking for a mini canister filter that flowrate's not more than 300l/hr.. so 150, 200 or 300l/hr is acceptable. brands like resun, boyu, jebao, eden etc etc are all acceptable. i also looking for calcium, magnesium and carbonate alkalinity test kit.. SMS me at 9106-3934. Thanks.
  5. woah thats alot of fishes and invert in your tank! whats your WC regime? and do your sexy shrimps munch on your zoa skirts? i read they do, if you do not feed them enough..
  6. i wonder if its possible to start a culture with those tiggerpods... if not once this bottle finishes (which is fairly quickly since mandarin are known to peck on pods all day long) you will have to keep buying and buying.. unless you start training your mandarin to eat frozen stuff.
  7. probably you can get those baby brine shrimp nets..
  8. i've read alot people using similar method to yours.. using multiple lighting to control on off and the total period is very long.. howver i only have 1 switch.. which is to on all 1 time.. however i do switch my light (manually) to all blue for 1 - 2 hours daily at the end of the lighting period though..
  9. Hey fellas.. just want to see how long are your tank on for your coral reef tank? Im on 7 hours (6x3watt LED) for my 34L tank (31x31x36cm).. thinking of increasing to 9 hours.. should i?
  10. get 3M glue gel. it can be used underwater. i always put some gel on the frag plug, and directly dip into water and stick it to the works.. works very well. no drip at all.
  11. once again, based on my research ( i have yet to own one mandarin!) all people suggest that you should off your pump when feeding the mandarin.. since they are slow feeders.. so the pods/frozen food will not fly around.. can use your balloon stick to train it to recognize that the stick means food too.
  12. holes doesn't seem large enough to fit a frag plug in.. probably can directly glue the rock the zoa came with to this rock.. or drill this rock with holes and instert frag plugs in.
  13. woah i love your zoa garden! hopefully the nudis are gone!
  14. Looking for the above.. prefer to deal in the north or west. SMS me at 9106-3934. Thanks.
  15. Have u tried pellets? They still do eat pods in ur tank right?
  16. i don't see a reason why you should not.. instead of doing one large WC every weeks. partial WC every other day is infact better for a nano tank.. Large wC may alter parameters too much and stress your corals and fish.. for my 34L tank, i do 1.5L WC (5%) every 2 - 3 days. so a week it will be around 15% wc.
  17. Thanks... they are from various reefers.. so far i have yet to bought any corals from farm/LFS.. all are from reefers..
  18. i did some research online and it seems like frozen brine shrimp's nutrition level is not high enough for them.. it is advisable to feed frozen mysis shrimp.. that again, is just based on my research...
  19. Thanks bro for ur help. Will be getting a Mandarin that us already eating frozen food.
  20. iwarna or ah beng have small mandarin goby? are this 2 farm located near by?
