as above, i have a maxspect g2 170w and after weighing it, it weights just 5kg. i will be hanging this light set but problem is, the part which i wish to hang, is actually a false ceiling.. The real ceiling is slightly towards the back and if i were to hang from there, i will have to tilt my light forward cause the whole light will be shifted to the back.. I took off my ceiling light and it seems like the false ceiling is pretty thick with metal framing as well.. its pretty close to the real ceiling too. Anyone hang their light on false ceiling? Hey guys, im planning 40 - 60lb of the above sand for my new 4x2x1.2ft tank. heard this is one of the best sand to use.. Delightings and madpetz do not carry and FreshnMarine do not have the 40lb version.. anyone see in any lfs?

you should use micron sock filter to filter out debris instead. filter wool will become a nitrate bed if left un-washed

I mix by a strong pump. Water usually clear and fully mixer within a hour or 2. So far I'm still happy with cp salt.. Was thinking if I should change to h2ocean for my new tank but decided to stick to rscp salt.

Since my tank is only 36cm high, im not looking for those big and tall structures... maybe long and wide will be good.. and flat bases so i can put corals on top. honestly, add SPS only after your tank matures, which is at least 3 - 6 months.. start off with softies or LPS first.. u can try cheato or ATS to reduce your no3.
