  2. Hi there! Yes it is the Kamoer F4 and it can be controlled via wifi module apparently. I'm not sure if I can do control overseas but all instructions are done through the kamoer dosing pump app on my iphone at the moment while I'm at home. Hope it helps! 6. New updates: Bought a dosing pump to deal with replenishment of the big three elements a few weeks ago, but didn't have the time to hook it up to use till now. Partly, it was because I had challenges finding a suitable dosing container for the dosing. After going around several places to find a container that would fit my requirements and with the highest available capacity, I finally got this from lifestyle store Muji. It looks really sleek and I love it. Each container will be able to hold 1.8litres of solution. Got my local lfs to help me with drilling a hole in the middle of the cover to modify and have this adapter and acrylic tube to be in the container. I really like how it looks. [emoji7] This dosing pump will be controlled via wifi on the smartphone. I also like how its signature will be so small compared to the previous model. 7. Technology makes reefing easier compared to the past. Good cameras, reefing equipments, additives etc. I’m still learning from many reefers here. Hardly a master, only an enthusiast. [emoji28] Many hidden dragons in Sg. [emoji87] Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  23. Just to share, one of the nice Bros here told me about his experience on keeping chillers inside the cabinet. The main issue here is heat which can be very intense inside an enclosed space. Although I had designed the doors to have ventilation slits at the front door and at the top rear of the cabinet to allow for venting of cold air (entering from front) and warm air (exiting from top rear of the cabinet), I also realised that it was very hot whenever the chiller kicked in. I therefore went to Sim Lim Plaza to get DIY fan units to install at the vent on the top rear of the cabinet to allow for active air flow through the venting suction of the fans. Here are some pictures. I had to join the individual fans together to form a row of them They were then attached to the ventilation lid and installed at the rear. That said, although it helps draw out hot air when the chiller is running, the chiller will still do better with the doors at the front fully open or if it was placed in an open area altogether. The price to pay for wanting neatness and everything concealed within the tank. [emoji854] I try to keep my chiller door open most times, so this might be a design flaw some reefers would want to take note of. Just sharing [emoji846] Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  24. I can watch television and peek at my tank too at the same time... so the tank is a bad distraction
  25. If u see my earlier sump pictures u will see two ball valves with 90° elbows at the opening of the divider leading to the chiller compartment. That's the piping. One runs from the pump to feed the chiller, the other takes the chilled return water and flows it to the main tank on the right [emoji4] Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
