Thanks guys, i'm now trying to reduce my nitrate level by using bacteria. Skimmer i'm using is a reef octopus 160 which is a slightly over spec. which is meant for a 4 footer, also using Seachem De-Nitrate! I think i will SO need to catch some fishes to reduce the bioload! any angel adopters for Coral Beauty and Eibli?

Hey reefers, Any advice or guidelines on the number of fishes to be added into a 3 footer? I have currently 17 fishes and 3 in sump tank (adopted 2 and 1 went in via overflow) Love angels and planning to add 3 more before i stop. So how? Sell away some fishes? Pls advice

I believe you are staying in the east? yea too far to head down to CF just to get a blueface. You can try SL or reborn, got mine from SL, juvenile one at 40 adults are at 65 and its doing pretty well. Reborn's the last i asked it all depends on size and stages of growth. Price ranged from 18-50 if i remember correctly. Ah beng so far have yet to ask him price wise but i think it should be reasonable. Hope this helps

You can try what i did, used plastic mesh (See pic) to house the angel and just patiently feed brine, mysis and pellets. It will take some time, not instant and if the regal sees other fishes eat it will eat too.

Blueface angel are normally quite shy, it should be added 1st. Since you have other established fishes you might need to catch the blueface and house in a corner using and egg crate (Like Brother Earth did, see his post on angels tank) Or like what i did if space is a problem. Bought those plastic mesh from any DYI shop, rolled it up into a huge tube, secure it with cable tie and housed the angels in there. I kept my angels for about 1 mth before i let it go also from here you can train it to eat pellets. It works! Best also to release it at night. Hope this helps

OMG its a RESPLENDENT PYGMY ANGEL!!!! i also wanna own this fish!!! but isn't this fish illegal to be collected? read that its found only on Ascenion island owned by the British therefore not eay for tourist to visit

I guess all of us has this problem with cleaner shrimps. Any one encounter cleaner shrimps not doing their jobs? Mine doesn't clean my fishes partly i think its because there are plenty of food and cleaning fishes is not a top priority!
