Hi nice tank setup! can't wait to see whats next. You might want to raise the base of your rocks higher from the sand bed? i can see many rocks at the base and dead spots would appear. Which i am experiencing. Just some suggestions.

PacificSlight aggressive towards smaller fish especially if its the 1st to be introuded. Diet: Everything Reef Compatible: Eibli, Nip on meaty corals eg brain and zoas Comments/Remarks: Beautiful angels

hahaha yea totally agree too many fishes! this angel was top of my list and saw it at CF was so tempting to buy but too bad tank not mature enough to keep this beauty so i gave up the idea. Maybe in the future when i clear all my fishes and start again? Maybe you never know.

Upz for you, Fishes are feeding on pellets coated with Spirulina, adopted a injured PT and now feeding it with the above hope it will boost its recovery. As for the rest all are feeding like crazy and will monitor any improvements. Thx again for the Spirulina.

Ya same thing here it happen to my 1st batch, don't know why? Now i'm trying to run 24hrs under white LEDs to see if it will bloom, i wonder what nutrients does it need? i know i have high NO3. I hope someone will share more about growing and maintaining chaetos

Nope its a mesh housing to protect my open brain from my Eibli. Its got an itchy mouth, but i'm also using the same mesh method to trap my angels and train them to eat pellets. Did post a picture on how to train and slowly introduce fishes to the main tank.

Thanks for the tip, will do start the vodka dosing. So for the chaeto to grow successfully lights must be on 24hrs?

Hey thanks for the vodka tip, so can i say that no matter how high your NO3 is, 1ml is the guide line to start and to increase? per dosage? Are you keeping any corals? i wonder if mushies will be affected?

Wa, i think i need to run my chaeto 24hrs too, am running for 10hrs only. Does changing of skimmer really reduce the nitrate that much? I think i need to talk to "hello kitty" to share water change cost. How to you do the vodka dosage? i read Melvreef's but not very clear on how to dose vodka. Share more with me on whats your method. Thx

Hey dnsfpl What i do normally is to not introduce straight away i would house them in a mesh housing and only after about 1 mth then i will let it go. If after 1 mth there is still fights i will try to trap the bully and let the harressed one swim freely till also roughly about a mth. Yea i plan to add 1 to 2 more angels then i will have to stop! care to share how you reduce or keep your NO3 at such low specs?

I believe you can too keep 4-5 angels in your 2 footer. You must plan which angels to go in from the first then the last and also how you introduce it into the tank.

Hahaha hmmmm don't know what was i thinking i guess not straight , read your post before and came across the 100ppm of NO3 issue. I wish i have the time to follow the regime of dosing AZ-NO3 as most of the time i'm not in SIN. The only way i can do to reduce is to use natural and chemical way and also frequent water change.

Thanks comycus, but i still think i need to do a rescape as there are dead spots around the right hand side of the tank which my MP40 is unable to reach. Other then that i think there are better looking tanks around and yours is just as beautiful. We all have alot to learn from reefers out there. Corals wise my cloves are dying, if you see closely my octo one of the heads is gone. Other then that the only corals i am keeping are mushies that are doing pretty ok, the zoas that came with the rocks that are not opening up which i don't know why. Need to ask iceman! I won't say the sand bed is "CLEAN" it has some diatoms growing around the mesh where i house the open brain. Other then that the sand dollar and goby are just doing thier jobs. Yes lemon's tank is very nice.

Woo sad to say my nitrate is high! Its at 100 Yes i know its really bad but am doing all means to reduce the nitrate. Adding bacteria, using Chaeto, De-nitrate. FTS of my tank will be coming up soon
