Bubble algae sad to say falls under the nuisance algae category. 1. Eye sore 2. Competes space with your other corals especially if you have zoas. 3. No known fishes or crustaceans will consume it other than the emerald crab. So not a good food source for herbivores. 4. Since its an algae its a nutrient exporter but not the ideal kind. Reefers prefer cheato as its easy to maintain. that's all i can think of.
