Hi all, I have just installed Deltec MCE600 in my sump yesterday. However, I have problem getting the unit to fully suck in the water though the inlet strainer to kick start . My sump is 50x45x45cm and the entire inlet strainer is 1†below the water level as recommended by Instruction manual. Do I have to lower the inlet strainer to the bottom of the sump? Please help !

150W MH easily produces 100 degree when measure using commerical digital thermometer pointing at the MH bulb after on for a few hrs hor ! As such MH will heat up your water to over 32++ degree and cook your LS if you dun use chiller so pls dun underestimate the heat that MH produce ! As mentioned by bro Sherman....LED lighting is the way to go !

The best way to reduce phosphate is to use Fluidised Reactor with either Rowaphos or AquaPharm SORB4 !

Lighting completed...total 10 Royal Blue and 12 Pure white. Set have been running for 5 hrs with 2 Fans and the temperature was still below 33 degree !
