Hi all, I have finally incorporated the Tunze and DIYed IFS system into my 6 month old RSM tank . All comments and feedback are welcome ! Live 9002 in action...

If I'm not wrong, RD is selling 350 for AB2000 NW needle wheel pump. 200+ is consider cheap but hor after sale service and spare part are very important 2 .

yes..I have been using Arctica 1/4 Hp, DBE-200 for 3.5ft tank for 2 yrs before decom. Currently I'm using Arctica DBA-075, 1/10hp for my 2ft Redseamax tank. Thumb up for Arctica...low noise, lower power consumption, reliable and very efficiency compare to china brand that I have used b4 (Resun CL450 N CL650). No regret till now !

Not possible leh. coz water level have to be 1.5~2" below the 9002 neck and dun 4get the cup height too.

This IFS method is already commonly use inworldwide..but design of IFS differently ! My RedSeaMax tank already used the same concept and if I'm not wrong....some branded tank already incorporated this IFS in the tank long long ago... ! So c see who is the invention ?

No. the water from inlet of the RSM to the water in of the IFS 1st layer then out from the bottom to the skimmer. See attached picture. This whole IFS and 9002 will sit inside the skimmer chamber.

I have no time to fix it into the RSM tank yet. By the phyiscal measurement, the skimmer lid no need to take out but have to lift up. Here come my DIY IFS with 9002.. Top layer is white filtering media and the bottom layer is the active carbon.
